Credit where credit is due. It will not only help to reduce crime, it will lower costs for the government.

I don't know why he did this, and I don't really care what his motives are. Well done, Mr. President.

This seems totally out of character for a President who has expressed little compassion for those less fortunate than himself - perhaps he's under the illusion that he will be the beneficiary of the "ex-felon" vote!

If Trump is being consistently Trump, he's probably merely attempting to get that in place so he'll have that right himself, should he find himself wearing that orange jumpsuit that appears to be weighing on his mind, these days.
