So...you still would pass time regularly as if nothing happened on the ship, but averything else is going super fast around you? Or do i have this backwards?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No, wait, I think I just understood. Time doesnt change around you, c just preserves you, so that your not accelerating through time, your just passing through. Kind of like cyrogenetics. Right?

I think it would be neither. If yo are going at light speed you 'drop' out of time. This means that you would be frozen in a way for x amount of time. However, probably to us it would appear as if we had been teleported.. similar to when you wake up from one of those go to sleep - wake up 5 seconds later things although you have in fact been asleep for hours.
Yup, although you are not dead. When traveling at light speed you will be no different just after to just before.
