i listened to sam harris (cool atheist dude that likes meditation) talk about determinism (he does not think that free will is a thing)

I said this in the comments since they are mostly atheist:

I find determinism to be a kind of life of wills. I think there is a difference in free will and in wills in a person and how such things develop in them based on the actions of themselves and the rest of the world and whatever else influences them. this or that nation can reign more or less supreme in the lands that we are and there are some stronger nations in us and some weaker ones in us too. like the world that changes so too do we change and this is what some people call "free will".




but I find that the realer world is the world of spirits and such things above are nested in this even greater reality and which that reality above is part of. I don't think you can have a proper understanding of reality if you don't know that spirit is a reality. even sam being an atheist still seemed to imply that there is some profound mystery behind being and this mystery I would call freedom or the will of God or the desire of reality. imo his perspective is a bit strange for an atheist in some ways but I guess this is due in part to meditation.

I will put a new heart within them" The old has passed away and all things become new. So it is with us. Btw just because, satan wanted(demanded) to sift Peter, does not mean it was allowed. The Lord prayed that Peter would not lose faith but He also said He guarded the eleven, and prayed The Father to keep them from evil (evil one) in John 17. Duality within for those that are truly His, is the flesh verses The Spirit.

Peter was going through the process within... the way each must go...

Even Jesus was led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by satan...Matthew 4:1

And Job in the O.T. God removed the hedge of protection around him.

In John 17, He had already "declared unto them thy name"...

We all come from the same place, one father of us all (created in His image)...they eyesight change in the garden and how far the fall (perception)...by faith, seeking to find, some have become blind that they now 'see'...some have not (don't know the father as they have always been fully known)...which is being revealed through The Son... It is the mind that must be renewed...mind of man (back) to the mind of Christ. First and last, Alpha and Omega...the beginning and the end (that takes us back to the beginning)...that which has been hidden being revealed...that duality within ceases...two become ONE.

The kingdom is within/in our midst...if you stand before the throne and open your eye to see the LORD on His throne, you have no choice but to be formed into that image. As you 'see', the truth, every lie is dissolved. When light comes into a dark place, darkness is judged and darkness has to give way to the LIGHT...dissolved, every embedded image in the human mind preventing living in the fullness of God.

Daniel and John (in Revelation) saw the same great judgment...
