The HOLY SPIRIT is in THE WORLD. And the HOLY SPIRIT testifies of CHRIST. It isn't just men called as HIS witnesses to "go" and preach THE GOSPEL
It is men who, by THAT WITNESS in us (THE HOLY SPIRIT) who makes HIS plea that men be reconciled to GOD through faith in HIS SON
When HE is taken out of the way, those who heard the GOSPEL preached but did not believe will not receive a second chance

But unless God is walking by your side at this
moment, you are not by His side just yet.
And not being with one with God, is what Sin is.
This is more of a near Hell experience.

I thought we were given "salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus," 2 Timothy 3:15. I don't think we need to do anything, it's a gift, Ephesian 2:8.

Pardon me, but it doesn't say I have to accept anything. The "faith" referenced in Ephesians 2:8, is "salvation through the faith which is in Christ Jesus," 2 Timothy 3:15. It's got nothing whatsoever to do with my faith!
