Relevant to something, I'm sure. It's just not relevant to a discussion of women's ordination, women priests, or women as pastors.

My post (1012) was entirely relevant, but then you're an Anglican, so no surprise it went right over your head.

Today's hierarchical (male) priesthood is entirely man made, and copied from paganism, so arguing for a female priesthood is hardly relevant.

"Research has shown..." What research is that? Is there a web link? Has the research been peer-reviewed?

The reason that I ask is that I haven't seen any real world proof. Girls and boys learn to speak at the same age and there are just as many language students of each gender with no difference in performance.

BTW, where did you get the idea that sign language interpreters are women? The sign language interpreters I've seen on TV have been mostly men.

Today world population is between 7 and 8 billion.

The best way to make up the shortage is to make women priests.

That's too vague to be seriously considered. Can you give a single source?

In the mean time I did a quick search on the Web. It seems that females have a slight advantage learning a language because they need less input to understand the words and grammar.
