Why is a gender specific resolution the answer to a perceived problem?
Because the problem is gender-related.

Thank youAh, well, I can respect anyone who puts action behind his convictions.
And now for some The Vicar of Dibley news... She will be returning to give three lockdown sermons on Zoom over the Christmas period:

Perhaps it's something more like the full image of God in his creation is lacking in the church if both men and women are not fully included in his priesthood and representing the fullness of his human creation. Once the veil of the physical temple was severed upon Jesus' death, the old law and the old covenant was replaced with the holy priesthood of all believers, with the Most Holy Place residing in the temple of the heart.
While there is no male or female in the soul of a person, a person's physical biology does bring uniqueness to one's physical experiences on here on earth, and when that uniqueness is excluded, the body (of Christ) as a whole is severely crippled, and we've all been witnessing the negative results of the crippled body for centuries.
This is not true in theological practice. Catholicism accepts Mary, mother of Jesus, as 'Virgo Sacerdote' -- see Pius X 1906 Oratio ad B. Virginem Mariam -- and teaches that it was she that offered the Son to the world. The Catholic Church has no women priests
Before reciting the Angelus, the Pope concluded his reflection by pointing out that the Gospel teaching has promoted an “active mentality” among Christian populations, even in the historical and social spheres, and yet “the central message regards the spirit of responsibility with which the Kingdom of God is to be accepted: responsibility toward God and toward humanity.” The perfect model of this attitude is found in the heart of the Virgin Mary, “who, receiving the most precious of gifts, Jesus himself, offered him to the world with great love." - VATICAN - Pope at the Angelus: “Indeed, what Christ gives us is multiplied when we give it away! It is a treasure that is made to be spent, invested, shared with all, as the Apostle Paul, that great administrator of Jesus' talents, has taught us;” the presence of the cloistered religious communities in the Church and the world “is indispensable.” - Agenzia Fides
Women, can already "spread the Gospel" without being ordained to the office of "Priest", Elder/Bishop/Overseer/Deacon or needing any new languages, though if such languages were gifted to them, they could use as God directs. The woman's role is already greater than she knows, being the instructor to the children in the home, training up a child, and being faithfully by the side of her Head, her husband in all support of that lead role. In doing so, she is in a exalted position that is greater than an earthly monarch.Women priests can spread the Gospel in new languages.
In her tongue is the law of kindness.
Jesus didn't come to form a church that conforms to the world but the contrary, those who want Him conform to Him and part of that is through the church, church and especially scriptural doctrines. Women clergy is not part of the deal. Sorry. It might feel good but the guidelines are written.
Thank you
The priestly caste we see in the church is an entirely man made invention, and not what Jesus or the apostles ordered for us in scripture.
1Pet2v4Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
If we are a holy priesthood, why do we create a hierarchy of special priests to place over our heads?
....9But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Again, we are a "Royal Priesthood", so why do we demand other priests to do the job Christ gave to the body collectively?
When we place other men over our heads, we make a separation between us and God. As such, we deny God's Fatherhood and our sonship.
The world needs women priests
to help women in poor countries get an education and jobs.
Jesus ordained two priests.
John the Baptist and Mary of Bethany.
Does the world need women priests?
The Catholic Church is the largest church in the world."the world" certainly has them.
