One story I heard one time that busted me up....
This young, new wrestler in WWE came up to Ric Flair and said, "Oh, man, Nature Boy, you were and are my hero since I was a little kid! Seriously! You're a living legend! I hope you respect some of the homage I give you with my gimmick, and give your blessing to some of my copycatting you."
Ric said, "absolutely, 100%. You have my blessing, kid! I've been following your career lately. Exciting stuff!"
The wrestler says, "I am kind of nervous to ask you, but, would you mind if I borrowed your famous figure-4 leg lock? It was your signature!"
Ric Flair didn't miss a beat--"Kid, you can HAVE that move! If you paid attention, I used that move for 40 years and not ONCE did I win with it!" LOL
It's true! If you follow Flair's career, he constantly did the figure-4, the opponent either got out of it, reversed it on Ric, or flipped him over with it. It was supposed to be his death move, but nobody ever once submitted or lost to it! LOL
*blows a raspberry at guerney*v moves? He didn't need no moves! He was The Giant!!
