56. If man cannot commit an infinite sin, can he deserve endless punishment?

57. If one sin be infinite, can a million be any more?

58. If ONE sin be NOT infinite, can a million of sins amount to an infinite sin?

59. If sin be infinite, can one sin be greater than the other?

60. If sin be infinite, can it be true that, "where sin abounded grace did MUCH MORE abound?" --(Rom. 5:20)

61. If sin be infinite, can it ever be finished or brought to an end?

62. If ONE sin deserves an eternity of punishment, how much punishment will TEN sins deserve?

63. Do you ardently DESIRE the salvation of all men?

64. Is it true that God "openeth his hand and satisfieth the desire of every living thing?" -- (Ps. 145:16)

65. Do you fervently PRAY for the salvation of all men? (1 Tim. 2:1)

To be continued

Questions requiring answers

66. Do you pray in FAITH, nothing doubting? (James 1:6)

67. Are you aware, "that whatsoever is not of faith is sin?" -- (Rom 14:23)

68. Would God require us to pray for all men, and to pray in faith, unless He intends all men should be saved?

69. If you believe endless misery to be the truth of God, why should you desire and pray that it may prove false?

70. Can the pleasure of the Almighty be contrary to his determinate will?

71. Would the infliction of endless misery afford pleasure to the Deity?

72. Can God be glorified by that which gives Him no pleasure?

73. As Jesus "tasted death for every man," can it be true that "the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hands," if a part are never saved? (Heb. 2:9)

74. If God "declares the end from the beginning," can the final destiny of mankind be contrary to His will?

75. Can endless misery be brought about contrary to the GOOD PLEASURE of the Almighty?

Too much 'humanism' / false witnesses have been used in the quotes in the posts by @FineLinen -- i.e. mixture of worldliness opposed to Yahweh's Word over and over again....
and then with all the distracting questions requiring answer
so much dependent and originating from man's fallen mind
instead of trusting and relying on Yahweh's Word and Jesus.

Dear slavejeff:

"It is through the Son, at the cost of his own blood, that we are redeemed, freely forgiven through that full and generous grace which has overflowed into our lives and opened our eyes to the truth. For God had allowed us to know the secret of his plan, and it is this: he purposes in his sovereign will that all human history shall be consummated in Christ, that everything that exists in Heaven or earth shall find its perfection and fulfilment in him.

11-14 And here is the staggering thing—that in all which will one day belong to him we have been promised a share (since we were long ago destined for this by the one who achieves his purposes by his sovereign will), so that we, as the first to put our confidence in Christ, may bring praise to his glory!"

Questions for slavejeff=

1. What is the "sovereign will" of the Eternal One?

2. Where does human history "consummate"?

3. What is the "secret of His Plan?

4. What part of "everything" evades your grasp?

5. Does His "sovereign will" as "staggering" as it is come to fulfillment?

nobody is here to be changed BACK to the hellish way... it has hurt us, unspeakably... and God, in His mercy, has given us rock solid faith for His plan of Universal Restoration... there is NO WAY to talk people like us into going back into hell and insanity.

I'm not going to play that game with you. It seems you're too old to change, or don't want to, so there would be no use in playing your game.

Dear slavejeff: This is no game. If you do not choose to participate I will not hold your youth and inexperience against you! You most certainly are in need of an expansion in the knowledge of the Holy; but alas, F.L. cannot accomplish what only the Holy Ghost must do!

As far as my advanced age: the Living One grasped me for Himself over 60 years ago. Not once has He failed to keep pressing me toward the mark of His great Purpose.

It is not "His plan" -
besides , also, Universal Restoration Plan of Man is associated with much continuing sin and error.

Dear St. Paul: slavejeff is not in union with what you declare>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

"It is through the Son, at the cost of his own blood, that we are redeemed, freely forgiven through that full and generous grace which has overflowed into our lives and opened our eyes to the truth. Perhaps Yahweh will permit you to learn from Jesus ?
(not if you are unwilling, of course.....)

i don't know what you are talking about... just saying, that if you came here to talk us out of it... you are wasting your time profoundly

Dear Hugs: Just hours ago you were concerned no one was coming to engage us. My blessed wife has again threatened to leave me if I do not get off this puter. Her face is showing strain, smoke is coming out her ears>>>>>what shall I do? I am too old and set in my ways to think of another to put up with me! I guess I will listen this one time. LOL. Till next time, may His great love, grace and glory fill us to overflowing!

Johnny4ChristJesus said:

I don't believe the Scriptures or the Holy Spirit point to universalism. I accept that I could have a wrong understanding, since Scripture is abound with people who misunderstand God--in one way or another--both before and after the Holy Spirit is given. My position doesn't judge God's character if my understanding is wrong. I'm not going to accuse Him, if He chooses to save everybody. And, not that He will have to justify that decision to me or anyone else; but, now we still see dimly, but then we will see as face-to-face. It is His creation and His choice to do what He chooses with His creation. Scripture says that as well.

Dear Johnny4Christ Jesus:

I do appreciate the spirit in which you post. I am old with a number of toes already on the other side of this vale of tears. Every one of us see in shadows with lovely moments when the Spirit of the Lord expands our grasp of Him. The tense is in the present continuous of "be being". The wonder of our Father is in the realm of zillions of digits flowing from Him as the Author of PI. Such a union with Abba is always moving us in an upward expansion of coming to know Him. I personally have given up the thought of ever coming to the last digit relating to Him. That is what makes this wonderful Dance so full.

With that expressed, I cannot escape what stares me in the face!

today, i got in an argument with one of those universalists that don't believe Jesus is God... the mere thought of that makes me sick to my stomach!!
it's like with some universalists satan just swaps one lie for another... and i really really can't stand talking to those people on the subject...
it's taken me all day to get over it, and i'm pretty much resolved to stop talking to peeps who believe that...

Dear Hugs: We are all peeps who as the Father expands us in Him become larger peeps. Until the Holy Ghost falls on us in an ever expanding revelation of His Person, we stagger around stating stupid things. Do not focus on stupidity, keep your vision focused on the One who changes crawling creatures into butterflies by metamorphoo!

“Trust him. And when you have done that, you are living the life of grace. No matter what happens to you in the course of that trusting - no matter how many waverings you may have, no matter how many suspicions that you have bought a poke with no pig in it, no matter how much heaviness and sadness your lapses, vices, indispositions, and bratty whining may cause you - you believe simply that Somebody Else, by his death and resurrection, has made it all right, and you just say thank you and shut up. The whole slop-closet full of mildewed performances (which is all you have to offer) is simply your death; it is Jesus who is your life. If he refused to condemn you because your works were rotten, he certainly isn't going to flunk you because your faith isn't so hot. You can fail utterly, therefore, and still live the life of grace. You can fold up spiritually, morally, or intellectually and still be safe. Because at the very worst, all you can be is dead - and for him who is the Resurrection and the Life, that just makes you his cup of tea.” - Robert Farrar Capon-

it's sooooooo stupid!!! they say 'GOD CAN'T DIE!!!' and i feel like getting in my car and driving to their house and pulling a 'Cher' move on them, slap them hard across the face and say 'SNAP OUT OF IT!!!'

there is a universalist forum that i just read in sometimes, have never posted in it... but it seems to me, they are just as confused on OTHER issues, and we should just learn to rest in Christ, and be trusting like little children, the way Jesus told us to be...

i mean, i'm coming to this place of peace with God, a place of no hell, a place where suffering is spiritual exercise and if we just trust Him, it will all be ok, a place where i don't have to be terrified anymore... and i just want to rest under Jesus' wing... so tired... want to rest. you know?

thank you for your kind words... i needed some kind words today... and thank you again for the blessings, they make me feel loved :)
