AND AGAIN WE SEE REVELATIONS 20:4-6 telling us exactly who is part of the FIRST RESURRECTION those who did not worship the beast or take the mark. How is it you are surpassing the dead in Christ when Paul specifically states the dead in Christ rise FIRST
Because those aren't the dead in Christ, meaning by the blood of the Lamb. The church was the first to be judged before the millenium began - and we are judged by the blood of the Lamb, gathered to Him because WE made a covenant by sacrifice. They are judged by WORKS. EVERYONE who is resurrected during the first and last resurrection are judged by WORKS.
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
The church is judging them. See that part where it says, " 4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them" THAT is the church who judges the world.
1 Corinthians 6:2
Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world?
There is NO mention of the blood of the Lamb in the first resurrection, only works. There is no mention of any other dead in Christ either, only very particular martyrs- that should be a major clue for you.
4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
But everywhere the church is mentioned, the blood of the Lamb is mentioned. (Rev 7, Rev 12) And every single place the church is mentioned in Revelation, we are in heaven.
Besides all of that, you just said that you saw in the 5th seal when the white robes are given that MORE martyrs have to take place before they are finally avenged.
Well, Rev 12's "the rest of the woman's offspring", Rev 13's saints who are "killed or imprisoned", Rev 14's "those who die refusing the mark, for their works follow them", and Rev 20's dead who "refused to worship the beast and take the mark" are ALL the same people. But that didn't stop the giving of white robes to the church or their change of location to the throne of God after having been given those white robes before more martyrs are to take place.
