Many missionaries have had local witch Doctors poisen them . but they gave thanks for thier food and were unharmed.as a sign to the sinners. Who later converted due to the Gospel being accompanied by the msnifestation of the Power of God.
It occurs far more often then you know.

I really believe that gifts are for today, some ministers can tell you a lot of your life without knowing, that is the gift of prophecy, the bible say if a unbeliever goes to church and people are prohecying then 'the secrets of their hearts will be known' this happens today i have experienced this!

Maybe God doens't want to add to the bible, but he can reveal, and speak to people of things.

Wrong I'm afraid. There are a number of verses that say certain gifts were only for the foundation of the church, that certain gifts had a purpose which was fulfilled, that certain gifts would cease when 'completeness' comes, etc. And cease they did, as confirmed by history. I would say there is more evidence for cessationism in scripture than there is for continuationism.

There are also plenty of verses giving descriptions of the supernatural gifts, and they do not match what people today call the same gifts.

You don't know what happened between so don't say he stopped speaking to people, to some or a lot of people he always spoke, and i don't think all that God speaks to people needs to become scriptures.
