Are you going to play at peoples' past Christianity or are you going to talk about a philosophical issue? A God would be nice, but I can't rationally justify it.

Not directed at you in particular, but to everyone who unknowingly were part of my exoeriment. Just out of curiosity, so I can better understand the data, what prevented you are anyone else from simply typing "Jesus is Lord"? If you had thought about doing it for whatever reason, what prevented you?

I can't see your religious affiliation but I am assuming you are an atheist of sort...is that correct. Have you always been an atheist or did you at one time considered yourself a Christian and later renounced your faith? I know it is an off topic question so you don't need to provide an answer. I am simply trying to challenge the scriptures to test it's truth and accuracy.

This so called experiment, revealed something, but i would guarantee, not what the poster in questions thinks.

Well, no you didn't. You could have addressed the entire post, seeing as the rest of the post was the important part. I'm hoping that you'll be intellectually honest enough to address the rest of the post in your next post.

And I need you to be completely honest because this is important. Are you really telling me that if Jesus Christ came down to earth and performed a miracle right before your eyes, you would still refuse to believe it?

If you saw a man on crutches approached by another man claiming to be Jesus Christ, who then "cured" the man on crutches, would you immediately believe it?

What if five minutes later you see the same scene played out with two different people? Would you believe that one?

Logical conclusion by taking all the signs into account is not mind reading. Though it may be to your advantage to conveniently think on a lower level at the moment and refer to it as mind read so in your view I can be nothing but wrong, in reality, there is much more to it. It all falls back to the same ol' agenda driven selective understanding you are so fond of....all part of creating our own reality.

You know he's there, and he scares you so much that you desperately try to pretend he isn't....it's written all over your posts.

I don't believe in several religions "gods", simply discount them as silly and pretty much leave it at that because they are no threat to me. You on the other hand go out of your way to fight tooth and nail against the God you either don't believe exists or just don't believe in, as you put it.

Again, nothing else makes sense...you know he's there, you choose not to do as he says, and you try to make the repercussions of that inaction null by proving God is null, at least in your own mind.

Lol. I think what might be going on is that your cognitive dissonance could be prohibiting you from believing that people can disbelieve in your god, because deep down you have your own doubts and it's frightening. It's easier to try and bolster your position by saying that everyone actually believes.

Personally, I used to be a Christian before I realized I had no good reason to believe any of it. So... no belief here.

You shouldn't. No one should be dishonest. Certainly not about whether or not they believe in Jesus. If anyone says it (or types it) it must be an honest confession.

We call that intellectual honesty.

Someone asking someone to make a statement they dont believe, would be engaging in intellectual dishonesty.

Shutting you up is not a good reason to be dishonest, IMO. Besides which, it is amusing seeing you stumble so spectacularly, all while thinking that you're making some profound point.
