Some Christians seem to quote from Scripture as though they are casting spells from a spell book, desperately hoping it will have some effect. Sorry, but verses from the Bible aren't magic spells.

It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”

9 Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” (Mark 4:3-9)

Out of curiosity, what do you hope to gain from quoting Bible verses? Do you expect them to have a purchase on those who don't consider the Bible an authority? Because quoting scriptures seems to be more therapeutic for you than it is edifying for me.

Would you not find it in poor taste or arrogant if I wrote a post saying "you know your god is not real, you're on here simply trying to delude yourself into keeping your faith, because you're too scared to face reality". That's ultimately the exact same thing your post is saying, but taken from the other perspective.

I'd say you owe ToddNotTodd an apology.

I find all condescension and rudeness to be "in poor taste".

That last paragraph of yours is EXACTLY what many non-Christians continually say to the Christians on this forum.
