I already answered your question. Review the time-lines for further details. Besides, this is the safehouse. Why are you trying to get an argument going here? That's what the forum is for. This is the safehouse.

Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the House. And His Disciples came to Him, saying, Expound to us the Parabola of the Tares of the Field. He answered and said to them, The One who sows the Good Seed is the Son of Man; the Field is the Seclorum; the Good Seed are the Sons of the Kingdom, but the Tares are the Sons of the Wicked; the Enemy who sowed them is the Diabolical; the Harvest is the End of the world; and the Reapers are the Angels. Therefore, just as the Tares are gathered and burned in the Fire; so shall it be at the End of this Seclorum. The Son of Man shall send forth His Angels and they shall gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and those who practice Iniquity and shall cast them into the Fiery Inferno: there shall be Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth. Then shall the Righteous shine forth as the Sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears that can hearken, let him hearken! -- Matt. 13:36-43

I cried out because of my Ordeal to IHVH, and He answered.
Out of the Belly of Sheol I cried, and my voice you hearkened.

For you cast me into the Depths, into the Heart of the Abyss.
The Flood surrounded me. All your Waves & Billows rolled over me.

    I said, 'I have now been banished from your Sight;
Yet will I look again toward your Holy Temple.'

The Mayim encompassed me, even to the soul.
    The Deep was around me.
The Seaweed wrapped about my head.

I descended to the base of the Mounts.
Earth had imprisoned me unto the Aeons.

Yet have you raised up my Life from the Vortex, IHVH my God.
"When my Soul fainted within me, I remembered IHVH.
My Prayer came in to you, into your Holy Temple.

Those who regard Lying Vanities forsake their own Mercy.
But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving.

I will pay that which I have vowed.
Salvation belongs to IHVH. -- Jonah 2:2-10

For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. -- Song of Sol. 2:11-13

HI. I'm what hyper preterists call a partial preterist but I heard a teacher say we shouldn't let them call us that, that we should insist on being called orthodox preterist or something other than partial because we were preterist before hypers were & they hijacked the term. What say you?

Stop your rejoicing, Israel; stop celebrating like the other nations. For you have committed infidelity toward your God; you've loved the wages of a whore on every threshing floor. -- Hos. 9:1

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. -- 2 Tim. 4:1-4

The issue for those of us who are partial preterist is the realization of that which was physical in the OT...becomes spiritual in the NT.

This is what Jesus was relaying to "the woman at the well when he told her:
    John 4:19-22:
19 The woman *said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.”
21 Jesus *said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.

The understanding here that Jesus is giving is that God covenanted with Israel to make Himself known to the nations through Israel. This is why Jesus said "salvation is of the Jews".

Jesus now changes that as He goes on talking to the woman...John 4:23, 24:
23 But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

This is THE significant change! Jesus removes the focus of worship from the physical objects (mountains and Jerusalem), to spiritual worship.

How does this change in the NT? Let's start with circumcision. Paul tells us in Romans 2:27, 28 that circumcision becomes spiritual and makes one a "spiritual Jew" at conversion:
27And he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not judge you who though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor of the Law?
28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.
29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcisionis that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.

This is the foundation of the change from God's people being the nation of Israel OR the "fleshly Jew"...to God's people becoming a spiritual Israel OR a "spiritual Jew".

This is foundational to getting a proper perspective of the OT prophecies...and the apostles quote many of them to make the connection. Miss that connection and you get caught up looking at the "wrong Israel"....which is prevalent today.

Well taught. Quite succinct and clear. Its not confusing when you at last "see" it. A beatitude promise. Jesus is Lord and the Kingdom is now.

I was watching a bible teacher, Phil Fernandes, on the NRB yesterday and he was going on and on about how Jesus' kingdom isn't now but to come later. So in my view what he's saying is Jesus isn't Lord yet so he's teaching the anti-christ belief. Only by the Holy Spirit can we say JESUS IS LORD. (now).

Also, Jesus told NIcodemus only those who are born again can "see" the Kingdom of God. In my view, the spirit has to show a person the Kingdom on the earth NOW and unless you see it by the Spirit you cannot see nor understand it. It is a higher Spiritual Kingdom where Jesus rules NOW and has since He ascended to heaven & sat down on the right hand of the power on high.

Now where I need to understand more is how the earthly realm relates to Kingdom now and what future eschatology there is for the earthly realm.Do preterists have any view of what's to happen in the physical realm? I think the last 2000 years has been the establishing of the spiritual kingdom, the rule of it, and I tend to think we're in the gog/magog war now &the final loosing of satan. I'm not argumentative, I am a preterist and want unheated, logical, mature discussion.

Just finished reading 'Victorious Eschatology' by Harold Eberle and Martin Trench...
it's answered alot of questions for me. They mention the dream recorded in Daniel
2, where the stone shatters the feet of iron and clay until their dust is scattered to
the winds. The same stone then begins to grow and cover the whole earth. Jesus,
being the stone, has done this, and His kingdom is advancing over the earth. I
    hope this helps.

I have to say there IS a confusion that comes with 'futurist' views, and you very
aptly pointed out the danger because of it. I've not thought it out to the extent
that it threatens saving faith, as you have. Thank you for pointing this out.

I always like to suggest A Second Look At The Second Coming by T.L. Frazier. It's not partial-preterism per se so much as it's Amillennialism, which tends to carry partial-preterist tones in my opinion.

Frazier is an Eastern Orthodox Christian and so writes from the perspective of Ancient Christianity, he critiques (more accurately points out the lunacy of) some of the futurist nonsense that's been peddled the past half century, such as Hal Lindsey's The Late Great Planet Earth and the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins and then the second half of the book discusses the historic Christian views in contrast to the futurist views. Generally entertaining a partial-preterist and/or amillennialist view.
