You have avoided answering the same, simple question over and over, but your evasions--like those of Jehovah’s Witnesses when faced with the same question--speak clearly enough. For now I will torment you no further with the question. (Concerning your effort to mix in the separate issue of the atonement, it may interest you to know that many Christians, myself included, are not proponents of the penal substitution theory.) Let's reiterate, then, what we have seen. The love of Allah according to the Quran is limited and conditional, and He sits and watches while others sacrifice for Him. By contrast, the love of the God revealed in Jesus Christ is unlimited, unconditional, and self-sacrificial. Thus, Allah according to the Quran cannot show love in the highest form possible. Even mere creatures surpass this Allah when they show a higher, costlier form of love. But God according to the Bible demonstrates the highest form of love. He leads by example.

Therefore the conclusion of reason is incontrovertible: the Islamic concept of God is inferior, while the Biblical concept of God is superior. The Islamic Allah is not the greatest possible Being, for we can conceive of a still greater Being. However, the God revealed in Jesus Christ is the greatest possible Being. We can say with Anselm of Canterbury, “Credimus te esse aliquid quo nihil maius cogitari possit”—“We believe that You [God] are a being than which nothing greater can be conceived.” Eventually you too will see that no lesser concepts of God will satisfy the soul.

John 1:29-30
Yes the higher Christology found in John, the least reliable source for information on the Historical Jesus. As I keep saying, he would have told all his followers, who he was and what he came to do, but we don't find this.

You give very limited options, when History shows another perfectly viable option.

(Concerning your effort to mix in the separate issue of the atonement, it may interest you to know that many Christians, myself included, are not proponents of the penal substitution theory.)
Ask 10 Christians and get 10 opinions! What is one to do?!
When addressing Christians I tend to think of the largest group, the ones who hold all the Scripture, the Roman Catholics.

Unconditional love? No it's not, it's very conditional, very specific too, accept Jesus pbuh died for your sins to have everlasting life. What's unconditional about that? Why will he return to kill all who oppose his 'unconditional' love?

You haven't thought this through very well I'm afraid.

Wages of sin = death...

The applause says it all.

No, the prophet Muhammad is not mentioned in the bible, this is simply made up garbage.
The Bible is supposed to predict all major events throughout human History, yet says nothing of a man who is regarded as the most influential man in History? A man who has led Billions of followers to worship GOD alone, a man who came forth from Saudi Arabia, the very place where Moses pbuh received the 10 Commandments. Arabia which houses a place of worship that is open day and night for the remembrance of GOD.

Perhaps Christians don't find him because to do so would mean looking into a Religion that requires effort and sacrifice, not just mere belief in a instrument of torture allegedly used on a Jewish man who appeared 2,000 years ago.

Ask any professional in their field if they had to struggle and strive to get to where they are, and I'm sure they will catalogue years and years of study and hard work together with ups and downs to get to their goal, and that's of this World, the insignificant material World. People think to reach the Kingdom of GOD requires mere belief in a innocent man's shedding of blood. A mere walk in the park to obtain everlasting life...

And those who reject Our revelations as false and turn away from them in arrogance, they shall be the inmates of Hell; and there shall they abide (7:36)

Not all but most of them deny it's the same God to justify why they choose not to obey Him. However, whether they like it or not, they ultimately return to Him.

I have read the thread, and I have read your link. This is a gross example of eisegesis i.e. reading into the text that which you wish were there.
Sounds like what a Jew would say to a Evangelising Christian using a 'mis'translation of the Hebrew Torah.
