How about the Bible and what the Bible says instead of what man says. Must we ignore all the posts of scripture which show the Trinity isn't correct??? Please follow God and The Holy Spirit and Jesus and read the Bible. To have 3 for one purpose is not serving 2 masters....They are all for one purpose. Please learn what is correct follow God not man....and please read my previous post on the intollerance of the Bible but tollerance for man.

I will pray for you all.
    Love and God Bless.

    When I say I am a Christian....Am I actually saying I AM
Wow see that Blasphemy! I said I Am.
Jesus died on the cross so that we might live.
God sent Jesus His only begotten Son.
God never came down but sent his Son.
No one has seen the Father but the Son.
If trinity was true than anyone who say Jesus saw the Father....It just isn't so.
They are for one purpose but they are not one.

I applied to help this board as a moderator. I got a letter of congratulations and was told they would start my training soon. Then he decided that first I better have an interview. The interview consisted of what gender I am?
And do I believe in the trinity. I explained that I believe in God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I believe God is above all and without God nothing would be created.
I believe Jesus was the only begotten Son of God and that he lived to show others how to live and died so we might live. I explained that I believe the Holy Spirit was sent by God and Jesus to remind us of the way we should live and to guide and inspire us. All I do not believe is that the Bible tells us that these 3 are one in a physical sense. the 3 are for one grand purpose....They are for good and to bring about a greater good. So what I am saying is close to the Doctrine but not quite. I stated that I follow the Bible and let the Holy Spirit be my guide and that I pray to God and Jesus....But guess what?
I was denied as a helper because I wouldn't agree to their man-madeup doctrine but would rather follow the Bible and let my prayer, and Holy Spirit guide me. There is so much tolerance given to things which are totally against the Bible but no tolerance for anyone who is not agreeing 100% with a man-made-up doctrine. I could have probably been able to help if I was a homosexual, alcoholic, spouse beater as long as I believed in the Trinity and blamed Satan for my ways...Heck I may even be able to hold a job as a priest??? Better start thinking what you tolerate and what you don't and you might find you are tolerating Satan and dismissing the Holy Spirit.

Love and God Bless My prayers are with you.

Whoa, I thought that we all had agreement on Biblical interpretation. Yeah, you can say that you are a Christian, Messenger, very good. But you cannot say, "I AM". If I were to ask you what denomination you were, and you said "I AM", it would be you answering the exact same answer when Moses asked God. At the time with the Scriptures, and Judaism, God had revealed Himself through a single name at the time. "I AM".

    I figured that

    Isaiah 9:6
    John 1:1&14
    John 20:28
    Romans 9:5
    Matthew 28:19-20
    Deuteronomy 6:4
    Mark 2:4-5
    and John 5:23

would be adequate to support the Trinity, as opposed to your grand total of 0.
    I guess I was wrong...

I apologize about your application to be an administrator. You said that you used the Bible to guide you. Can I know where? I really am curious about this.

Wow, "Truth". Did you say that Satan has twisted every single truth to some degree? I don't know what god you believe in, but the God of the Bible would never let evil prevail over all aspects of importance. God has the power to prevent it from happening to all, no? Then what on earth convinces you that Satan had the power to do that. If God has the simple power to do both, then it's a free choice He would have made to decieve us in all areas. I don't serve that god.

Most importantly, we can know that they are all one, by seeing that each holds a divine attribute, something ONLY divine. If the Bible's not good enough for you, then use common sense. All are called God, all are Creator, Resurrects, Indwells, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Life givers, and so many more. We belong to each one. Yet it says we belong to God.

Again, that's if the Bible above isn't good enough. TTYL Jesus loves you!

The Bible is good enough for me that is why I do not need a man made doctrine. When I state what I believe to be true most agree with me or believe I am pretty accurate but the problem is is my faith is in God and not a doctrine. I look at doctrines as additions to the Bible or subtractions from the Bible and I believe we all know the Bible says not to add or ommit anything from the Bible.

If you read the Bible in context and not just a few verses that seem to support the doctrine you will find that many verses do not support the doctrine.

The doctrine of trinity has changed several times. It has come to the point now that it states that if you do not believe the doctrine entirely than you are condemned by the Catholic church.

I understand Church and people can help us to understand but we must be certain what we are understanding is God's word and not man's.

I have been really busy lately and what I am trying to do is defend God but it is coming more across that I am defending myself and that is not my intentions. I take the name Messenger and leave off gender in hopes to not put in my personal opinions and instead go according to the Bible but I have been slipping. When I feel people are standing up for man instead of God I get this Bear instict like a mother Bear over her cubs...and then I don't come across very well.

I appoligize for not being able to explain the trinity and what I feel goes against the Bible. I am juggling work reading the Bible searching the doctrines and trying to get sleep as well. I don't have a problem with people doing there research of the Bible and coming up with a different opinion of what God is. The problem I have is being told I am not a Christian if I do not believe as you. The Bible tells me differently....I have a problem with people saying they believe in a doctrine but they don't even know what exactly it states....Faith in God...Faith in the Bible...but Faith in Man made up doctrines I think when we put faith in man we may lose.

Anyway give me a few days to get together what I am trying to show you all. I don't need you to agree with me. I just want you to have as much knowledge as possible. Knowledge leads to wisdom and wisdom is grand.

To God be the Glory. God is God....God sent us his only Son Jesus to live so we might learn how and to die so we might live the perfect sinless sacrifice for our lives...The Holy Spirit was sent by God and Jesus to show us the way. God is all and everything everything stems from God without God nothing is possible...With God all is possible. This is the beginning of my faith wisdom knowledge. I accept what I have been shown by the Holy Spirit this is good enough for me but not good enough for the Board or other Christians who are quick to condemn.

To God be the Glory forever and ever.

    Love and God Bless.

I never said you're not a Christian. I believe that LDS, Catholics, and others are Christians. Because they believe in Christ, read His word, and do their best the best they KNOW how. Unfortunately, this is what Romans 10:2-3 calls a misguided zeal for God. Misconceptions.

I do believe, however, that believing that Jesus Christ is God is necessary to for salvation. I never said that believing in the Nicene doctrine of Trinity in the 3rd century, I mean, me must know Christ and enter into a relationship with Him. If we don't even know the truth that He is God, then we really don't know Him. It's not to be mean, it's just that believing in Christ (God in the flesh) is different from believing in a christ who is a seperate entity.

I understand, whenever you have time. I pray that you will not ignore them. I ESPECIALLY would LOVE for you to look into the Hebrew and Greek roots of those verses. They're a portion of the argument itself. TTYL Jesus loves you!

Ed, that post was slightly hostile. I don't want you to be angry at me; I've never even talked to you before.

I'm sorry, typo there. When I said "do their best the best they know how", I was implying their deeds. How well they followed Him through actions. That was all unnecessary if you would have actually read my post a little more thoroughly.

WHOA! The Bible does not say, "those who disobey His teaching does not have life". It says that those who do not believe in Him do not have life. I do not trust you quoting verses anymore. The twisting was caught red-handed. The Bible does not say that. Therefore, please don't say it does.

The teaching of Christ was that He was fully divine, fully man. He said it discreetly, because He had to continue His ministry for three years before He was crucified. If He straight up said that He was God, the Pharisees would have killed Him. How is it that one could simotaneously please both at the same time. This is displaying the persons in the Trinity it does not disprove it. 2 John 9: is that a little joke or are you serious. You have to be kidding to ignore the 13 contexts I posted, and post this one that also helps prove our point.

In this part, I wasn't talking to you here. So you accuse me of not believing or obeying His commands: just because I said "Jesus loves you!"?! "One the other hand my friend, if you TRULY look up to Jesus to SAVE you, you better BELIEVE what he says and OBEY his commands."

Ed, post whatever you want to. I will not respond to it. My back is turned, take all the free shots out on me that you want. I won't be on this thread to see it.

See what Ms Julie? Are you asking us to see your false interpretation of what our precious Lord Jesus is saying in the passage your pulling out of context? I think you need to open up your eyes to see that Jesus is not making himself out to be a equal, co-equal with God at all! False interpretations are assumed and encouraged so that people like you can continue to support tradition or orthodoxy, never mind what the scripture is really saying! In so doing, you have allowed these mis-interpretations to contradict other verses where the same word is used! So what you have done is you have made a mockery of scripture by trying to get it to fit your ill-conceived theology! By supporting your false Trinitarian theory you are making the words of Christ a mockery also because He never placed Himself on any kind of an equal level with the Father, and He certainly is not doing that in John 14:6

Julie, I see your still quoting more scripture out of context! The sripture doesn't contradict itself.... My wife and I are one too! Are we the same person? The passages you are quoting is not saying Jesus and the father are the same person, they are one in unity. Why don't you find a five year old and have them read it for you and see what they tell you Julie! It's so simple!

:( This phrase never appears anywhere in the Bible. JESUS is not G_D; HE is the SON of G_D and HE stated many times that HE worshiped G_D and served G_D. HE never said that HE and G_D were the same "person". That is blaphemy and it denies the only true G_D and makes an idol of HIS SON.
