The Mandela Effect is evidence that you may have experienced events from a different reality. Finding others with similar memories can affirm that.

Interesting how folks remember events unfolding a certain way while reality reflects things differently. The human mind certainly is prone to things like this, especially in terms of people as a group (groupthink, for instance).

Cool stuff!

When posting a video on CF you are expected to provide a brief synopsis. People do not wish to spend time watching videos that they are not interested in.

Many remember New Zealand being N East of Australia.

I saw New Zealand a week before it became S East.

And it was N East. Things like this……

Again, there is nothing here to show that it isn't just a false memory.

A thousand raindrops convince you it's raining.

A thousand examples are convincing.

So you claim that the thousands who say that New Zealand is to the northeast of Australia should convince me? How about the hundreds of millions who say it's always been to the SOUTH east? Why are you asking me to ignore them?

Don't ask me to accept an argument from popularity when the vast majority of people claim you are wrong.

You're just helplessly doubtful.

No, just realistic.

I mean, sure, some people remember New Zealand being to the north east of Australia. But which is the most likely explanation? That they somehow have memories of a different reality where the forces that shape our world created this difference but no other significant differences somehow, and these memories are either transmitted from one reality to another or the people have somehow moved from one reality to another...

...Or they're just mistaken.

Do you know how unreliable human memory is? It's shockingly bad, and incredibly easy to manipulate. And yet you are invoking the sort of stuff that you only see in bad sci-fi in order to avoid having to deal with that fact.

Most likely? You will be skeptical.

I'm willing to believe anything, provided there's evidence for it. But when the best you can do is claim that a minority of people have the same memory as you - a memory which can easily be explained without needing to invoke bad science fiction - you're position is entirely unconvincing.

I have a photographic memory.

Reliable.

I'm sorry, but science and reality both disagree with you.
