The details can be found online from multiple sources.

While a few scientists believe humans were here 200,000 years ago in Ethiopia, there isn't much scientific evidence to support it.

Actually it does. Read Genesis and you'll see the year of everyone's birth for the first 2,000 years of human history up until Egypt became a powerful kingdom. Modern historians know the dates from historical records after that time period.

I believe there were humans before Adam, but only he and his descendants received the soul/spirit of God, that can be made immortal provided we are deemed to be worthy. Revelation 21:6-7

Re the 6000 year period decreed by God, for mans governance, to be followed by 1000 years of Jesus' Kingdom, this is proved by the simple addition of the times as given in our Bibles:
7000 years from the Creation to the Completion of Mankind:

Genesis 1:27 Adam was created in 3970.5 BCE [Added back from 586 BCE]

    Gen 5:3 Seth +130, Gen 5:6 Enoch +105, Gen 5:9 Kenan +90, Gen 5:12 Mahalalel +70, Gen 5:15 Jared +65, Gen 5:18 Enoch +162, Gen 5:21 Methuselah +65, Gen 5:25 Lamech +187, Gen 5:28 Noah+182, Gen 6:7 The Flood came when Noah was +600, Gen 11:10 Our year 2314.5 BCE

Arpachshad +2 - born to Shem after the flood. Gen 11:12 Selah +35, Gen 11:14 Heber +30, Gen 11:16 Peleg +34, Gen 11:18 Reu +30, Gen 11:20 Serug +32, Gen 11:22 Nahor +30 , Gen 11:24 Terah +29, Gen 11:26 Abram +70, Abram was +52 when God called him and they left Ur. Our year 1970.5 BCE He lived in Haran for 23 years, then went to Canaan at age 75. Genesis 12:4 Total years so far = 2000

Gen 17:1, Abraham was 99 when the Covenant was made with God. +47 Genesis 17:1-8
Galatians 3:17 Paul states that the Law was given +430 after the Covenant. Total years elapsed until the Exodus – 2477, in our year 1493.5 BCE.
[Many ancient records say Comet Typhon passed close the earth at that time. It was the cause of many of the disasters in Egypt.]

    1 Kings 6:1 The Temple construction starts, in the 4th year of King Solomon +480 since the Torah was given at the Exodus.. 1 Kings 11:42 Solomon 40 minus 4 = +36, 1 Kings 14:21 Rehoboam +17, 1 Kings 15:2 Abijah +3, 2 Chron 16:13 Asa +41, 1 Kings 22:42 Jehoshaphat +25, 2 Kings 8:17 Jehoram +8, 2 Kings 8:26 Ahaziah +1, 2 Kings 11:1-3 Athaliah +6, 2 Kings 12:1-3 Joash +40, 2 Kings 14:1-2 Amaziah +29, 2 Kings 15:1-2 Azariah +52, 2 Kings 15:32 Jotham +16, 2 Kings 16:1-2 Ahaz +16, 2 Kings 18:1-2 Hezekiah +29, 2 Kings 21:1 Manasseh +55, 2 Kings 21:19 Amon +2, 2 Kings 22:1-2 Josiah +31, 2 Kings 22:31 Jehoahaz +3mths, 2 Kings 23:31 Jehoiakim +11, 2 Kings 24:8 Jehoichin +3mths, 2 Kings 24:18 Zedekiah +11, who ruled until the Babylonian captivity in our year 586 BCE.

Total elapsed years to the first exile of Judah = 3386.5

586 BCE + 613.5 years + 2 comes to 29.5 CE, the date of Jesus’ baptism. Luke 3:1 Plus 2 to include the total number of elapsed years, as our calendar system counts years from their commencement.
    3386.5 + 613.5 = 4000 years.

July 2017.5 CE - 29.5 CE = 1988 years since the commencement of Jesus’ Ministry.

    1988 + 4000 = 5988 years, is where we are now. 5988 + 12 = 6000 years

2017.5 CE + 12 = 2029.5 CE Exactly 2000 years to the end of the present Church age. 4000 since Abraham, 6000 since Adam. Next comes the 1000 year reign of Jesus.

7000 years is God’s decreed time for mankind.

Those who have been found worthy will go into Eternity with God. Revelation 22:1-5

All things are by him and for him. Everything we discuss on a "Christian forum"... is it not essential to our faith? the things we discuss, the things we believe? I just noticed you have a tendency to use "modern science this or modern science that", and the like, and I needed to point out that you rely too heavily on the science, rather than the creator. I just simply addressed it as the bible does. Though there are some "scientific" things that are in scriptures, I find it hard to believe that you have not realized that the bible does in fact explain those things that you seek. Explanations for everything that science only guesses about. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. And to depart from evil is understanding. (mashup of two proverbs 1:&, 9:10)

If the scriptures were unambiguously crisp, this would invite or necessitate unacceptable legalism. Whether one sees the signs depends on one being tuned in to the right channel and how well one is tuned in; but God has given us abstraction not detail; when one sees detail one can be sure men have provided it.

In the past I have read Revelation five times and the Gospels four times and I am not sure of the sequence of events; I am sure that Revelation is not linear but has parallel streams; I am not sure whether the nuclear war precedes the two witnesses lying dead in the street and the eighth beast, but I have sufficient warning to know that I need to be ready.

Perhaps you can direct me to a source having the correct true Holy Spirit-inspired teaching of every Bible verse, and the correct true Holy Spirit-inspired teaching of every doctrine or teaching ever proposed for belief by Christians. I suppose the Catholic Church would be the source for all this since they claim to be? Is that where I should look?

Philosophy demonstrates the scientific method will result in truth regarding the material physical universe. If someone interprets a Bible passage in a way conflicting with science, they need to change their interpretation. Otherwise their view is false.

So you not actually interested in genuine Bible based timeline?
A bit too scary for you, I guess.

The thing is; we must see Bible prophecy as being fulfilled at some time. The first Advent of Jesus was literally fulfilled in many aspects, why shouldn't the second? If the plain Words that the prophets have told us are of no real consequence, then how much else of the Bible is rubbish?

    Does it matter?

We know that Adam was 930 years old when he died.

Why are you on this site? You obviously have no interest in the scriptures and accuse "someone" as being false, by citing philosophy, material science, and scientific method as abstract ideas without even stating any tangible anything. Are you even a Christian? If I had to venture a guess though, I would almost have to say you are agnostic. Or are you just on here to argue with people and lead as many people astray as you can? How did you fall so far away from him?

    Thank you for your comments.

I'm a born-again, radically-saved, on-fire-for-the-Lord Christian; a believer in the Nicene creed and the Trinity.

I am not a young earth creationist.

I believe Jesus Christ has an intimate, moment by moment relationship with those who love him. I am no agnostic.

I think anyone who has ever ridden in a car, or flown on a plane, or traveled to the moon, believes in science.

Just trying to share the Lord. Would rather not look to him in all things, rather than the things he has made? He tells us the worldly things will pass away. Solomon, with all his knowledge, called all the worldly knowledge "vanity". Is the Lord not making all things new? Isaiah 43:19, Rev. 21:5. To avoid oppositions of science falsely so-called 1 timothy 6:20-21. I could argue science, show the golden ratio in nature, the mathematical formula for the pyramids, and the like, however I shouldn't. It would take you and I both away from the things of the Lord. Away from the things that are eternal. Remember the potter and the clay from Job??? think of a potter's wheel and the earth upon it. Apply that to the universe. Then you easily see the orbits, the foundation of the earth, and the like. But these parables make no sense to the natural man, because he only sees those natural things, much like the raven sent from the ark was only interested in the things that already were. The dead things. Whereas the dove sent out, was only interested in the new life. Hence a believer's two natures. Should I mention that the flood was the first rain upon earth? How the very essence of the physical condition of the earth at that time is why science is messed up in historical dating? Why radioactive carbon dating only goes back so far? How the very flood that was impossible scientifically was what advanced the aging process of many things that are thought to be hundreds of thousands of years old? Even skeletal remains. But again the potter and the clay...how or why would we as clay, question the maker on why he did something? By knowing science, what gain have you? Could you do it better? Is it not obvious how he made us? He tells us clearly in the Word and in our hearts. Is it not obvious why? Because he loves us. I don't believe science made us. He did. Your science keeps you from believing, for example, how Exodus 3:2 how the bush did not burn up. Daniel chapter 3 of the three men not being consumed in the furnace. Joshua 10:13 the sun and moon stood still. Elijah challenging the priests of baal and he even used water on his own wood and God set it on fire. Science can't explain any of that. You cannot serve two masters. One cannot serve both God and mammon. I want you to have a good relationship with the Lord. I care not about winning or losing a philosophical or theological argument. Science fails. Things die. All returns to dust. Trust in the Lord. He made all things.

Thank you in your interest in the relationship between science and Christianity.

Here are some quotes from the Catechism of the Catholic Church showing their friendliness with science. I'm in good company:

390 The account of the fall in Genesis 3 uses figurative language ...

159 Faith and science: ... there can never be any real discrepancy between faith and reason. ... methodical research in all branches of knowledge, provided it is carried out in a truly scientific manner ... can never conflict with the faith, because the things of the world and the things of faith derive from the same God.

283 The question about the origins of the world and of man has been the object of many scientific studies which have splendidly enriched our knowledge of the age and dimensions of the cosmos, the development of life-forms and the appearance of man.

337 ... Scripture presents the work of the Creator symbolically as a succession of six days of divine "work", concluded by the "rest" of the seventh day.
