I would say that God is pleased with those who do good.

"His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:23).

And God is not pleased with those who do wrong.

"And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 25:30).

There are those who just reel the letter of scripture off that has no bearing on the reality of their own life. But they insist others must follow that letter to be saved

Just think if the pop Pharisees if Jesus day. They reeledyheletter off pat. They insisted the people nigh on faultlessly observes the letter of the law.
They knew the literal words if the then scriptures off pat. They did good deeds that everyone could see. They tithed down to their last, mint, dil and cumin. They attended all the synagogue meetings and dressed well.
They would not have gotten drunk, used foul language, had extra marital sex.
To the people they appeared do very pious and holy, reeling off the scriptures. But they couldn't fool Jesus

They were to be presented holy, blameless and above reproach (no scope for unrepentant sin in a believers life)
Paul would rather have gloried in his weaknesses, than be a hypocrite... I feel like I may do that...
No mention of sin or sinlessness in this, or in "any" of this you shared, if one is ready to make his defense by being honest and not hypocritical and really does feel he is being genuinely honest and not lying... Then...? Were all sinners, only sinners even need a savior BTW...

My earlier post is referring to falling away from God through willful known sin. It never said that we can follow God in our own strength, nor did it ever say that we are not all sinners in need of a Saviour. If we are being honest we must only believe God's Word.....

"Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)

We are so blessed that Jesus is such a loving God and is very patient with all of us. It is not God's will for His children to sin because the wages of sin is death and he does not want us to be lost but Jesus is the Gift (Romans 6:23) that our God has given to us (John 3:16) that if we have Faith in Gods Word and follow him, he will save us from our sins.

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (1 John 2:1)

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).

False accusation, see, if you were honest you'd know that everybody is hypocritical, compared to God most especially, but you won't face the truth, instead you take offense to it acting like I was being accusatory, when I was just being honest and telling the truth...

You preach "keep the commandments", do you keep the commandments...?

There are two groups of people, ones who had sins, some big, some small, but all acknowledged their sin and felt sorrow and were sorry over and about it, with God all the time, those were Jesus friends, then there were the others who refused to see their sin, and had the thought that they aren't like one of those people, those dirty rotten, nasty, sinners, I'm not like them...

Paul still struggled with the flesh even though he had the Holy Spirit... And he suggests that we all do if were honest...

Why do you still sin sometimes...? Is it not because of this physical body, and only being free of it will get rid of sin completely... Not saying that we can't improve, we should improve, but not ever perfect in this world, and that is just the truth and not a deception and is no lie...

If you are referring to Romans 7, that was still about those under the LAW, the subject of which began in Romans 1. Romans 8 starts the SPIRIT. We are no longer under the law if you walk in the Spirit. The Spirit is what those under the law since Moses never had, thus the continual conflict depicted in Romans 7 that Paul had gone through as a Pharisee. Romans 8:9 says we are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if we have the Spirit. If not, we don't belong to Christ.
