Cherry-picking and anecdotal. My grandfather smoked 2 packs a day for 60 years and lived to be 90. By your reasoning, we should question whether smoking causes health problems.

Oh, no, true. But it does kind of devalue the forum a bit when a person who doesn't know a single thing about evolution yet acts like they do (you) keeps entering the argument and pretends they have a point.

Exactly; this is why the plural of anecdote is not evidence. Stories about the individual failings of presumed experts are not comparable to the knowledge gained from many independent, peer-reviewed, expert studies of a subject, published in journals of note.

I'll generally believe someone with the initials DDS actually giving good advice about dental hygiene than some no-body (I'm being honest here; unless you actually do know me, everyone's a no-body on the internet) on this forum with 'just so' stories.

Somebody other than those with initials after their names can attest to the incompetence of some pro's. In fact it is us nonprofessionals that are the primary victims of professional's incompetence.

Unlike you, I don't try and make it out because I was inconvenienced by a workman, that I should ignore every single scientist in the world because you don't accept evolution. It's trite, and frankly quite childish too.

I recently went to the ER for what I thought was a deer tick bite. Because I have a history of CAD a team of heart doctors gave me the once-over. The head cardiologist then arbitrarily doubled my cholesterol meds saying that it was the new regimen. My own doctor was puzzled by this as my current medication was working just fine. He also was unaware of this 'new regimen'.
