  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"White supremacists infiltrating the police" is not synonymous with "the police are white supremacists".

What do you think he meant by "white supremacists are infiltrating the police"?

I don't think he meant they're adding police as friends on a Playstation 4 account.

Even if Kaon believes that many cops are white supremacists, it does follow that he's claiming "cops are white supremacists".

Actually, he seems to be claiming the entire judicial system is rife with white supremacists. That's judges, lawyers, etc...not just police.

As for your statement above.....any chance you wrote it incorrectly and meant to say something else?

Moreover, white supremacists acting against cops doesn't preclude cops having white supremacists in their ranks.

If you think

Lol sure... they can coordinate attacks on cops, but can't remember how many work at local police departments.

Then what is the point in providing a single anecdote in an attempt to rebut a generalization?

You based your generalization on a single anecdote. How many should I have posted to rebut yours?

No I didn't.

I didn't actually base it on any one particular event but a general theme I see. At least in terms of posters on here:
Cons will highlight violence perpetrated by the left in protests
The left tends to highlight violence perpetrated by the right in the day to day.

Am I the only one who tends to see this?

Again, these were generalities. I didn't "base it" on just this thread, though I can undersatnd why you thought that given the context and me putting it in this thread.

"Blue jays are birds." is a correct statement. "Birds are blue jays" is not. "Blue jays have infiltrated the ranks of birds" is nonsensical.

You said the theory that you disproved is "Cops are white supremacists." Your evidence that such a theory exists is that a single poster said "white supremacists have infiltrated every facet of law enforcement". You're either being deliberately obtuse or you don't seem to have a solid grasp on language usage.

White supremacists infiltrating the police would mean there are white supremacists within their ranks. His "every facet" adjective means that there are white supremacists within their ranks at every level. Police are white supremacists is a statement which indicates all police are white supremacists. The two statements are not remotely equal.

Delusional, blatantly false and keep watching videos instead of thinking for yourself ......
I watch the videos to see what has actually been happening, what people have actually said.
I can see for myself what Trump has been saying because it is recorded on camera.

And then I do my thinking.
OK, he actually DID say that.

What do you base your thinking on?

I don't have to. Reading comprehension will suffice.

Here's what you wrote:

This is what you posted to support your claim that you needed to disprove the theory that "cops are white supremacists":

"White supremacists infiltrating the police" is not synonymous with "the police are white supremacists".

Even if Kaon believes that many cops are white supremacists, it does follow that he's claiming "cops are white supremacists". Moreover, white supremacists acting against cops doesn't preclude cops having white supremacists in their ranks.

If you think Kaon is supporting your case despite his written words doing no such thing, you can ask Kaon if he thinks your interpretation of his words is accurate. Plain interpretation of language doesn't support your assertion; the onus is on you to make your case.

Additionally, even Kaon's claims are a radical suggestion. Even if his theory was what you claim it is (it isn't), i don't see liberals claiming that his theory is worth consideration.

You're arguing against a straw man.

Thanks, but please don't waste your energy trying to explain things to others who cannot get or, or want to interpolate their own tragedy into something for the purposes of deflection and enhancing its own argument(s). This may be especially true for the entity you were speaking to.

No, "white supremacists infiltrating all law enforcement" does not equate to "all law enforcement are white supremacists". How would that make logical sense, considering white persons aren't the only ones who work for the police department. The entity in question knows what it is doing with respect to energy siphoning from a virtual platform. It purposefully says "controversial" things (despite them being completely sophomoric in delivery and inquiry) just so that people will argue with it. This is how it thrives.

This is why I ignore people: some on this forum know exactly how much of an energy vampire they are, and they purposefully do what they do (misread, remove pieces, purposefully misinterpret to support an argument). Some even purposefully ride the boundaries of the Forum Rules just so they can trap others into breaking them. The entity in question fits the aforementioned categories for me, which is why I had no knowledge until you tagged me.

Having said all of that, I appreciate you attempting to educate those who find education repulsive, but please don't waste your time or energy going back and forth with someone who loves that attention and thrives off of it.

I purposefully make my posts "mini-essays" so that I do not have to do this - explain myself multiple times over multiples pages. Very few people ask for clarification from me because it implies weakness for those entities that would depend on humans; the rest of the people actually get it (even if they disagree) or don't get it (and genuinely ask).

Flee from this entity.

You are 100% correct - grammatically, contextually and linguistically. The reaching some do is discernable, which is why I don't bother.

Please don't cast pearls before swine; other people need your insight and contribution. The entity knows exactly what it is doing.

Look...I don't see any point in discussing which one of us correctly interpreted Kaon's post when we can just ask him what he meant. Honestly, the longer we do this....the sillier it feels, and I don't understand why you're reluctant ask.

The world is global, but The world hasn't accepted that yet. This is all a show for the final curtain call.

These things must happen - at the time they happen - to destabilize the nation, collapse the financial core and ultimately morale and idea of America.

Yes I'm crazy, stupid, ignorant, [insert flippant cliche scoffing nomenclature here), but what is happening is basic war strategy. Instead, the people are being used to justify what will happen next. Our complicity in privileges we know others can't afford, our ignorance, our want for comfort and security over real freedom, our ability to qualify the truth into subjective pieces... We have already given over America.

Enjoy this period of transition we are working hard to complete (i.e. the collapse of the States); when it is over the lawlessness in law enforcement and draconian measured we were warned about will seem like nothing compared to what we will allow.

White supremacists are emotional in their hate and delusion, so they make easy pawns to use to bring discord - and therefore introduce a solution already made beforehand. Since they have infiltrated all facets of Law Enforcement, it is understandable how these sentiments can be well organized, and how law enforcement is sympathetic to their activities. We were warned about this and we just laughed. Now it's time to accept the inevitable. Everyone has a role to play; most Americans have accepted the roll as cattle as long as there is a illusion of green pastures and the fencing protects them from other animals - ignorant to the fact that their overall use is for slaughter.

Hey Kaon, I have some questions about what you were saying here....

To what extent do you believe white supremacists have "infiltrated" law enforcement? Are you just talking about the police? Or perhaps judges and lawyers as well?

Are you talking about a handful of white supremacists in an otherwise uncorrupted police force? Because when you say the police sympathize with white supremacists....it sounds like you believe that both organizations share common beliefs or goals. What do you think is the role of white supremacy in law enforcement?

His words were obvious, and by the time you posted this, he had already agreed that I interpreted his words correctly.

He didn't answer anything....he just stated that he wasn't claiming all police are white supremacists, which doesn't matter because I didn't claim he said that.

Except that you did say that. Words have meaning. The words you used in your claim had meaning. Kaon's words had a different meaning.

"Police are white supremacists" is a statement which means all police are white supremacists.

Firstly, the usage is different. People are infected is noun (people) are verb (infected). Your previous statement was noun (police) are noun (white supremacists).

But, we'll continue. Are you then suggesting that one instance of white supremacists targeting police debunks the theory "some police are white supremacists"? Was "some police are white supremacists" a theory that you felt needed debunking?

You've invalidated your initial post with this as your explanation for what you had posted.
