Mark twain was a ChristianBecause he considers himself a follower of Jesus?
Can't be a follower of Jesus if you don't believe the word of God.Because he considers himself a follower of Jesus?
You responded to my quote I wrote to the OP. Provide the quote you're referring to that addresses you.You just used man's way of thinking instead of God's in your last reply to me.
Does that mean in any way you don't think of yourself a "Christian" ?
Maybe. But, one needn't believe the word of God is the Bible. Can't be a follower of Jesus if you don't believe the word of God.
Itching ears then.Maybe. But, one needn't believe the word of God is the Bible.
When have I done that? What if, as is often the case, you believe the Word of God, but add man's interpretations to it ?
The WORD of GOD is the scriptures held within the Bibles pages?Maybe. But, one needn't believe the word of God is the Bible.
Since there's no false god and nothingSo then back to the question you avoided answering, can a false god write a perfect book ?
Jesus ( is said to have ) gave some good advice.Maybe. But, one needn't believe the word of God is the Bible.
Sounds like universalism to me..What if, as is often the case, you believe the Word of God, but add man's interpretations to it ?
Spanking children is punishment, and this obvious fact also holds true among Eskimos.I wanted to jump off the top of mount everest without a 'chute and without gloves on.
My eskimo experienced parents kept pulling me back, saying "no" rather loud, and swatting the area that has the right cushioning for being swatted.
Such negative reinforcement to stop me from killing myself,
but I'd be glad for it if this were a true story !
I would not assume negative reinforcement is punishment.
I'm not a universalist, as you've seen over in this thread HereSounds like universalism to me..
It's wise to spank a child,Spanking children is punishment, and this obvious fact also holds true among Eskimos.
My answer was serious. You're messianic faith? You don't believe in the Trinity? That's what it sounded like. I didn't get revelation from man.Like I said, you "just posted", i.e. it was the last post of yours to me, that I know of anyways.
A few posts ago, number 102.
never said you were a universalistI'm not a universalist, as you've seen over in this thread Here

That's why i said what i said,
My apologizes for not making that clear and just quoting what he said in it's entirety.
That's because the term holy trinity isn't in the bible? He was talking about me mentioning the Holy Trinity.
Trinity means 3.That's because the term holy trinity isn't in the bible?
As to where the term originates from Idk.
I myself acknowledge the Father, The Son, and the Wonderful Holy spirit while praying.
that's all i know
To the best of my knowledge, Christians are not required to believe everything all other Christians may believe. In fact, a certain degree of scepticism and critical thinking is required to distinguish the true from the false. Nowhere, it seems to me, is this more important than in matters of religion, where our damnation or salvation is said to depend on our decisions. It's a man-made artifact? Then how do you define yourself a "Christian"?
