Some of us do show respect to your knowledge of the bible, and I think it is more respect than you show of our scientific knowledge.

But to be fair, when your scientific knowledge is questioned, your default position is 'science can take a hike' or 'the bible says it - case closed'.

We don't doubt your intelligence, or your integrity - or even your motives.
No-one can be an expert on eveything.
You guys might be a hot-shot in the lab, but when you call me a YEC, it tells me all your education means nothing when it comes to judging me.

You might even be a team leader on some scientific field trip, and be able to set up your equipment before some can even pitch their tent; but if you ridicule basic doctrine (such as dispensationalism) as 'something I made up,' your science means nothing.

You can't take your doctorate into a boxing ring, can you?

I rarely see a lab anymore to be honest.
If I was a hot-shot in one, I would have forged a (hopefully) succesful career in one.
But it bored the pants off me.

Judging?
Who is judging?

Ha, I had to look that up (is that bad)
I can see that you didn't make it up, but someone did.
Derby.
Strange fellow.
Personally, I prefer not to dwell on 'end times', I like to live in the here and now, and enjoy every day that I can.
Each to their own I guess.

I wish I had a doctorate to take into the ring.... Only a boring old BSc for me AV.

But I take your point - it's not worth anything outside of my work really, and would count for nothing in a church or a physics deaprtment....

How old do you believe the Earth is (in actuality from the moment of it coming into existence)? And do you believe it was created by a divine creator (the Judeo-Christian God) or not?

If the answer to those questions is 6000 years and Yes, you're a YEC...even if you try semantics to wiggle out of the earth be created 'with age', if you think that event happened 6000 years ago or so, then you're a YEC...

Prepare yourself for semantics and wiggling.

You didn't make up dispensationalism; John Nelson Darby made up dispensationalism.

Ya -- -- imagine that!

Yet I've been accused of making it up.

This defender of evolution REALLY lost it ... :) from 1:08:30 onwards.

Here'sa photo of one tree buried in multiple layers of soil & each layer said to have millions of years between them as per evolutionists...

Question is if small part of tree got burried in one layer, then howcome the rest of the tree kept standing for million year before next layer was laid down & then more & more of eras for each of the next layers... :) Many of these had roots severed so no in-situ growth.

Even more interesting is that some trees are upside down,,,(2nd photo)

& then there have been trees petrified tree in northwestern Colorado that was coalified at the top, petrified at the middle, and wood at the bottom.

Layers do not have millions of years between them. Around polystrate trees, the sediment shows evidence of having been deposited wholesale by a flood: the tree was swamped by mud.

Flood deposition is distinguishable from long-term sedimentation.

Like anything in the geological column, the column can bend, curve, and even go back on itself. This video by potholer54 explains better it than I could:

"Evolution" is the end result of change across successive generations. As you can read.
Not the process itself. ;)
I specifically highlighted in red the part where it states "EVOLUTIONARY PROCESSES". Evolution is an ongoing process and there is no END result as all life forms are in a transitional state. If you do not understand this then you do not understand what Evolution is.

By law they are allowed to keep 85% of the money to cover the cost of raising money.

I never knew that man made "law" allowed such a scheme.
This angers me. If your robbing God with that scheme, please oppose me. I stand in your way.
The donor, in general, is intending all that they donate be given to the cause. Anything else is robbery and the fed and ss are failing if they do not stop that.

Give it all or fail. We have read of tipping over the tables in the synogogue. God is judge. We all wait. :)

"Evolution is any change across successive generations in the inherited characteristics of biological populations."

"Evolution is any change across successive generations..."

"Evolution is any change..."

When allele frequencies change over generations, that's evolution. It very much is the change.

How come it so important to you if it all ceases to exist(if you believe the grave is the end) anyway?

If it is not important to you, than how come you fight it, causing divisions among people? Hope is good thing friend.

"Hope" and wishful thinking are completely irrelevant to reality.
