Except for the fact that all Ten Commandments are reiterated the New Testament.
They are reiterated in fact. When a man asked Jesus what commands should be kept, Jesus repeated all of the commandments save for the Sabbath day one. Because he is our Sabbath.

That doesn't mean Sabbath no longer is to be kept holy. It means that while we honor God every day and Jesus is with us always, Jesus reminded us none the less that the Sabbath was made for us. Not us for the Sabbath. Mark 2:27

A day when we can rest from the world and be in a place of rest in our relationship with God.

The ten commandments are Gods moral laws. Imagine the spirit behind an argument that says Gods moral commands for our lives no longer apply.
As Jesus said, we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Loving God is the foundation for that very thing.

I'm not a Calvinist but I've done a lot of research on the scriptures and this is a great article in my opinion that outlines the import of the moral commands of God.
This outline created by John Calvin as to how the 10 commandments of God fit into our contemporary life, even the secular realm we must journey in as people of Christ, is one of the best synopsis I've seen.
I hope it helps.
God be with and protect his people . Amen.
We are familiar with the order of the ten commandments. This list follows that in application to our contemporary life.

Application to Public Life
Throughout history, the Ten Commandments have been used as a framework for expounding all of our ethical responsibilities. For instance, John Calvin develops a substantial section of his Institutes of the Christian Religion by using this outline. While a full exposition of the Ten Commandments is impossible in a short article, a thought or two on each mandate may help readers as they face their personal and public lives:

1. Placing Priority—“no other gods,” provides prophetic resistance to anything that would make itself into a god, such as the totalitarian state.

2. Saying No—“no idols.” Christians must have no physical or mental images that we worship; they must resist idols and uphold the truth. At the same time, tolerance is a Christian invention. It follows that we must defend both legal and social tolerance.

With regard to legal tolerance, leaders cannot and should not coerce religious belief. Freedom of religion is America’s first freedom. Christians should defend the rights of people to believe and practice any religion, regardless of whether that belief system teaches the truth.

Social tolerance is just as important. Jesus calls us to love not only our neighbors but everyone—up to and including our enemies. Christ’s love has a centrifugal force that thrusts us over the deepest divides of race, ethnicity, religion, and moral beliefs.

Tolerating others’ beliefs both legally and socially does not mean that we agree with those beliefs, or that differences do not matter. There are times we must take a stand. There are times when Christians must say “no” to the world and proclaim Christ’s truth to a fallen culture.

3. Complete Conviction—“not in vain.” We should not take God’s name in vain with respect to his worship, in language, in oaths, or in promises. Perhaps the worst sin is not profanity, but lip service. Luther once said that God is sometimes more pleased with the curses of the wicked than the “hallelujahs” of the pious.

4. Time—“remember the Sabbath.” We must set aside time for our Lord for worship, fellowship, and devotion. When one’s output exceeds his input, it leads to his downfall. Christians must take the time to renew themselves and invest in the church, weak as it may be. There will be no rebuilding of the culture without the church.

5. Respect for Inheritance, Heritage and Succession—“honor your father and mother.” Let those who come behind us find us faithful. C.S. Lewis argued we need to let the breezes of the centuries blow through our minds, specifically by reading one old book for every new one, lest we become captive to the latest fashion of our time. That which is most relevant is that which is most timeless and eternal.

6. Dignity—“you shall not murder.” The image of God is the only adequate basis on which murder can be condemned. C.S. Lewis held that there are no ordinary people—“you have never met a mere mortal.” People dare not get used to the taking of life lightly. With this in mind, Christians must help the poor not only because God commands it, but because people are made in the image of God. We want to give the poor an opportunity to flourish.

7. Fidelity—“you shall not commit adultery.” Sexual beauty comes not by repression, nor by unlimited expression, but by discipline. Marriage and family are at the core of society. If they fail, society will become poorer economically and spiritually.

8. Ownership—“you shall not steal.” Stealing is evil because private property and ownership are good. God wants everyone to have the joy of sitting under their own vine and fig tree.17 The best protection for our economy is the rule of law which guards private property and character that allows trust to form between people.

9. Veracity—“you shall not bear false witness.” In today’s culture, “truth has fallen in the street.”18 Truth is replaced by rhetoric and “spin.” Individuals are to be truthful because God is truthful. Above all, Christians must uphold the veracity of God’s Word.

10. Desire Versus Greed—“you shall not covet.” One can condemn greed and envy without prohibiting a healthy desire for relationships and things. “An argument against abuse is not an argument against use,” says an ancient proverb. Justly decrying greed does not negate the value of serving people through business and free markets. You can have one without the other. One can distinguish the Fall from Creation.

Paul took a vow to prove he taught & kept Torah, due to false accusations against him of teaching against living according to the Torah(law)

Acts 21:20-24 KJV

Notice also, Paul was keeping the Torah, taking vows, and also observing Shabbat & the feast says after the Messiah went up to Heaven. If the law was done away with, why would he still be keeping the commands to observe the feast days? He also taught them. The false accusation was that he taught to forsake the law of Moses, which is really God's law, given through Moses. He took the vow to prove those were lies.

Elizabeth and Zechariah were righteous and kept God's commandments blamelessly

Luke 1:5-6 NIV
So explain why you don't keep the feasts and the law.

Righteousness is not by the law - Rom 3.

Your righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees which also kept the law.

If you live by the spirit you mind isn't on law that's about the flesh, but if you live by the flesh your mind is on the flesh and the laws that you apply to it.
Romans chapter 8
8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[b] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.[c] And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Study the bible if your going to use the law apply it only to yourself maybe you'll learn.
Matthew chapter 4 verse 4
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
Romans chapter 1 verse 28
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

John chapter 8 verse 31,32
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, " If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
2 John
9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
Job chapter 23 verse 12
I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.

Matthew 11
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Luke chapter 21
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Romans chapter 10
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Matthew 19:16-19
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

There are those who will cite this scripture as proof Jesus brought the ten commands to an end. They think "fulfill" means , end,
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

They claim the law was abolished when Jesus fulfilled it. And yet, when they say that using that scripture they're saying that scripture states: Think not that I am come to destroy the law of the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to destroy.

Jesus said he did not come to undo the law or the prophets.
There are three codes in Gods law.
(The ten commandments) Are the moral code. The ceremonial code, pertained to the spiritual relationship, and the sacrifices of animals for sins. And the civil code, which pertained to the laws of the nation of Israel.
Jesus fulfilled the spiritual ceremonial code because he died on the altar, the cross, as the last perfect unblemished lamb. Taking the sins of the world upon himself so that they would be covered under the blood.

And Jesus fulfilled the moral code, being he was the prophesied Messiah who brought the new covenant to the world, and reiterated the moral code in relationship with God and his redeemed people in Matthew 19:16-19

Hello John.

Jesus included this commandment also.

Luke 18
22 One thing you still lack, sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor.

Do you deny this is a commandment?
yes i do!

Jesus was simply answering the man's question.

if this were a command we'd see evidence of the church doing this and we simply don't.

In Psalm 14, it's talking about wicked humans, and God's people, who are righteous, being persecuted by the wicked

Psalm 14:4-6 NIV
Do all these evildoers know nothing? [
They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on YAH. But there they are, overwhelmed with dread, for Elohim is present in the company of the righteous. You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor, but YAH is their refuge.

Looks like there are indeed those that are righteous, and who obey God.

Then why are you claiming to keep a defunct (replaced) law?
it's obvious that you don't understand what the prietsthood law is about, that's what i'm getting from this exchange.

Is very obvious you don't understand there is no Levitical priesthood to administer the law's requirements.

You're not aware that the law of sin and death pertained to the ceremonial law wherein animals were killed to atone for sins.

Jesus reiterated the moral law. He did not say it was invalid. Imagine what is being argued by those that believe God's moral guidelines no longer apply.

That's why I posted the article excerpt on the ten commands application in today's world for the Christian. In scripture Jesus and his Disciples affirmed the need to obey Gods commands. When that is so, any mortal that attempts to gainsay that is not speaking of Jesus teachings.

Righteousness is not by the law. Rom 3:21; Heb 7:19

Yeah the Israelites were a very righteous people. Must be why they were rewarded with punishment and destruction. BTW how does v 3 exclude the COI?

all of the Israelites weren't wicked. God has always had a small remnant amongst his people. Remember, only Joshua and Caleb were the only 2 who went into the promised land(Israel) from their generation.

Even with verse 3, we know it's talking about unbelievers. Fools. Because in the following verses, it tells us that God is with the righteous. This means there are 2 groups of people being discussed. The fool who doesn't believe, and the righteous whom God is with.
