ok.

can you answer this?

in a prophecy that's yet future, Isaiah wrote:

Isaiah 2:3(NKJV)
3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

what law will go forth from zion?

I'm not sure what law you think will go forth from Zion. "Christ is the end of the Law, in order to bring righteousness to everyone who believes."

It's interesting to me that you cite a single verse from Isaiah to prove your point. OT prophecy is extremely hard to interpret definitively. Why do you think this will be in the future, since God has already called a people to himself from all over the world? The body of believers consists of Jews and Gentiles (non-Jews) right now, all of whom have died to the law and live to God in Christ Jesus.

You shouldn't pin your doctrine on one statement, especially when the New Covenant does away with the Old Covenant with its law, priesthood, and temple.

Step 1. Quote the actual New Covenant.... Jeremiah 31:31-33, Hebrews 8:6-10
Step 2. note the details in the actual text

that's why i asked you!

didn't do that!

i simply asked you a question about the verse!

OT prophecy is extremely hard to interpret definitively.
that's why peter admonishes us not to do so - 2pet 1:20!

Why do you think this will be in the future,
uh...because the scripture says so!

i haven't done so, it seems to me that it's simply your perception.

and i'm still waiting for your answer!

because i was trying to point out what i wrote in post #628.

paul is obviously talking about the fleshly ordinances. that's why paul asks in verse 2 did they receive the Spirit by "works of the law".so when he says "the law is not of faith" it couldn't be the "ten" because the spiritual law contains justice, mercy, and faith as Christ said or else we'd have a contradiction!
You cant be serious. PLEASE Go back and read Galatians 3, then tell us what law is implied that came 430yrs after the covenant of promise to Abraham.
Gal 3:17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

What law was added to the Abrahamic promise because of transgressions?
Gal 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

You're going to wait a long time for me to answer a second time. I gave a response to your post so I won't repeat it.

My Bible, based on the best texts and written with clear meaning just as the source documents were, says "For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us".

That in brief is the whole Gospel regarding the Mosaic law. Christ is a living being; the law is a dead document.

You nailed it. This chapter Gal 3 is talking about every commandment in the book of the law. It also tells us: (a) The law has NOTHING to do with FAITH. (b) If you continue with the law, you're required to keep all it's commands.

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

...and your point?

If its a sign of the OC, why would we need to observe it? Colossians 2 does say that Sabbath was a shadow but Christ is its reality. The sign of the NC seems to be the Holy Spirit who discerns the heart. God puts his law in our hearts.

it was the ceremonial and ritual laws not the ten commandments!
7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone,(10 commandments) came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts! 2Cor 3

If you have the answers, ceremonial and ritual then why did Paul write the above? Can you see it, transitory meaning temporary just the same as the ritual and ceremonial were temporary so were the 10 commandments.

All the Torah was temporary The covenant at Sinai was an "if" covenant. God said if you obey my commands and statutes I will..... Israel disobeyed and the covenant with its 10 commandments along with all the remainder of the covenant and ended the whole covenant at Calvary. Calvary also ratified the new covenant with Jesus blood. Do not allow anyone to tell you that the new covenant is like the old one, just a warmed over version. Heb 8 says the following: 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises. 7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

This also goes with it. No law makes anything perfect, only love does.
Hebrews chapter 7

11. If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come--one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?

12. For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.

18. The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless

19. (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

it's not a sign of the OC!

the bible tells us exactly what it's a sign of:

Exodus 31:13(NKJV)
13“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

it's a sign because it points to God as Creator!

Exodus 31:17(NKJV)
17... for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”

the sabbath identifies God as Creator and those that keep the sabbath are identified with the true God!

Colossians 2 does say that Sabbath was a shadow but Christ is its reality.
true, the sabbath also points to the coming millennial rule of the Christ.

the priesthood and the covenant aren't the same thing.

12. For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.
the change was to the law that governed the priesthood, not the ten commandments!

how'd you miss that?

yes, the levi priesthood was delivered through human instruments, that they themselves had shortcomings and the like - heb 7:22-28.

Paul said Sabbath is just a shadow but Christ is the reality

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Exodus 31:13 “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Colossians 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ
