yes and no; in that the GOP types had plenty of time and say to come up with a bipartisan agreement, they chose to remain in the shadows as America was and is moving Forward.

That's not what happened at all. GOP was purposely not allowed into the debate, they found a couple of so called moderate republicans to give a false impression of bipartisanship. I found the whole process deeply disturbing.

Many say that US is a Christian Nation, let's say that it is and you and many others believe it to be true. A Christian Nation would feed and clothe and shelter the poor. Healthcare is right inline with that too. So, the government lead by those socialist liberals are doing more for God's creations (human beings) than those who you say 'ceded the responsibility'. That's what insurance IS - pooled risk, and costs.

Neither. We will tax them, give them NO benefit for their $, and put that $ towards those that can afford it. Robin hood in reverse! Barry is from Chicago - who sez the mafia isn't in control?

And besides don't you think its our own business if we want to get health coverage or not? Why are we being forced to buy it?

This is the issue. And it has been decided. Since we (as a nation) wind up paying for it one way or the other, it has been declared we should all bear the cost, to some extent.

I have issue with saying this is the work of God. I also have issue with giving americans sub par HC. This is what this bill will do, the poor will get less HC than they can get now. Im all for HC reform, i just dont think this is it, we are selling out and settling for less than we should. We should push for a better bill.

Don't scare me about con rhetoric from fear-mongering GOP type. John Schnatter hire part-timers without paying decent salaries and medical, bump him to the curb, no need for slave-wage employers.

So, tell us, when doesn't a business pass the cost on to consumer? Gasoline cost spent on pizza delivery also raised the cost of a pizza, so what? Consumer knows what the cost is after making a order, no surprise.

Did you READ the article? He's going to raise the prices a whole 14 cents. The delivery fee is 2 bucks.

Wow...14 cents is going to bankrupt America.

I used to be a manager for Papa John's...and a delivery driver. I doubt seriously that the 14 cents is going to put a dent in his business.

But if the suggestion is that I see most libs in same light as him - I agree.

They pretend to care and want justice for people, have all these ideas about how the world should be and push for laws to make it so,(ObamasCare, gun control, halfway house early release programs) until that care and justice or laws effect their own lives then they scream like stuck pigs and show their true colors.
