The law, Roberts wrote, “makes going without insurance just another thing the Government taxes, like buying gasoline or earning income. When ever aspect of your life can be regulated or taxed then I doubt you will see this as a victory.

This decision really doesn't matter. If anything it clarified the terms for the debates this election. Robert's didn't want to be the one who overturned this, so he punted it back to the political arena with defined terms.
