Still as isolated as ever

About a year ago I asked for prayer to break my isolation.
This still hasn't been resolved.
I think isolation is bad for ones physical and mental health.
Please continue to pray for a breakthrough.

What contact do you have with your church?
How often are you able to get to attend church?
Will your church come and get you or visit you?

True. I live alone, work alone, and recreate alone, with some exceptions...love it. I do like interacting with others here though. One can't be a complete hermit.

I am in a new area with a new church.
The church has been wonderful but I can't get there because of my anxieties.
So I ( sporadically ) go to bible studies.
Am thinking of going to a church nearer to me but not as nice as this one.
No point in belonging to a church you can't get to

Isolation feels like solitary confinement!

Talk to your doctor/therapist about methods in dealing with your anxieties, remember they are not real.
If you have a church that is supportive of you and your problems. They will do a taxi service, visit, arrange practical help, sermon tapes/cd's etc etc.
Don't leave it for one that doesn't do this.

One prayer I would pray at times when i was in isolation was
“Lord would you bring people into my life I need people in my life”
and then I would take the step of faith and would get involved with church groups or into a community having faith in God that people would come into my life..

And then I actually had the prayer answered I met some people and been acquainted and my social life has grown.. though I can still be alone but I still don’t have that darkness of isolation anymore because of the people God has brought into my life..

And there was a few times where I met with the same person on strange accounts where it must’ve been God bringing me to them because of the occurrences, was no “coincidence.. and when I was at work I met this other Christian that was new it he told me he was wondering why he was at the job we were at and he believes it was to meet me because Jesus brought us together in union at work and I became acquainted with him.. and when that happened I remembered my prayers to God about people coming into my life and believe that he heard me..

The Lord sees what we go through and is willing to help us.. our help comes from him so I’ll pray that you won’t be isolated anymore
