Americans can compare prices from 4 years ago to today's prices. Americans know that the costs that we are paying for goods and services are still too high.

This is silly. We all know that over time prices go up. We all know the Pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine have caused inflation over the globe.

The so-called bipartisan Senate immigration reform bill was a complete and total piece of trash. It was a garbage bill that would have done absolutely nothing at all to stop the massive illegal immigration. That is why conservatives in the Senate voted against it.

Specifics please.
My understanding is that Republicans beholden to Trump voted against it because Trump doesn't want things improved under Biden. It's call sabotage for perceived personal gain. Others would call it hatred of America.
Even Katie Britt, a Republican on the committee who developed this bill voted against her own bill at the behest of her lord and saviour Donald J Trump.
This Republican part are a cancer on society.

Instead of stopping massive illegal immigration, that bill would have only tried to be enforced if the illegal immigration is averaging 4,000 per day or 5,000 in one day. Those numbers are absolutely unacceptable.

Instead of stopping massive illegal immigration, that bill would have only tried to be enforced if the illegal immigration is averaging 4,000 per day or 5,000 in one day. Those numbers are absolutely unacceptable.

No one wants immigration to be stopped. No one wants to stop admitting asylum seekers.

What people want is the ability to process seekers quicker, rather than letting them in, unprocessed and finally processing them 6 years later, the bill is to fund more judges and more administrators to get asylum seekers processed in acceptable timeframes, which would mean that those not found to qualify, would be deported much quicker, rather than staying for up to 6 years.
It also puts a cap on how many seekers will be accepted per day.

All of this is much, much better than what USA has today. The bill was drafted by a bipartisan group, including staunchly conservative Republicans.

Now, thanks to the DOnald Trump, the Border Patrol will have no additional help until, in the Republican's mind, DJT is POTUS in January.

No limits per day.
No addtional resources for the Border Patrol.
No addtional judges to process the backlog.
No additional asylum officers to process applicants.
