b.) The result of a physical process lasting nine months.

If they are, why are divine origin and physical origin supposed to be mutually exclusive?

The way babies are designed to come about is not the way Adam was created. Adam was not just a special creation, but a created man made on a day that had evening and morning. Babies take many evenings and morning to grow and be born. Our spirits are created and formed in the womb, and when we get saved, we are a new creation etc. But that is not like Adam and Eve.
