Well, it is another busy day and I still feel sick and weak this morning. I have to take one of our cats to the vet in a few minutes to have his teeth cleaned. He has a bad tooth that will be pulled too.

Been feeling unwell the past few days. Can tolerate it for the most part, apart from feeling faint. Reminds me of the whole hear problem thing last year...

Might have a date on Friday.
The last guy I mentioned dating broke up with me(if you can call it that, as we were never technically an item I guess) after a month.
Wish we could of stayed friends, but he decided against for emotional reasons.

Other than that I'm waiting on a volunteer job thingy(a Lock Keeper), and generally trying not to slide back into my depression too much.

Kind of feel obligated to campaign in the general election and want to, as it should make me feel a bit more productive, and know I tried my best when the results come in.
But politics is an endless well of irritation, and it's hard to motivate myself when I've been feeling pretty crappy as of late.

Comic Con is coming up at the end of the month, so that's cool I guess, even if I worry I might bump into the ex-person-I-was-dating.
I don't have any money to actually buy anything, but meh.

Also, I hate the warm/hot weather...

Kick on the skis and do a few laps around the meadow! That does look wet and cold. We've been having a nice cool spell so I've been out trying to take dominion of my bird garden. I really need to tend to my beds and get some hummingbird flowers and vines going.

Wow.
We didn't get any snow that settled in London last winter...or the the winter before.
Really hope to get some next year(When we do get snow, it's usually in February or March; late December and early January is usually rain/flood season).

I'm guessing you must be pretty sick of it?

I'm starting to be much less amused, we were up to 18 inches of snow when I left to slowly roll down the mountain into town and I've heard it hadn't let up. I'm a bit worried about the weight of all this snow on the deck, trees, etc.

It has been a relatively lazy day in my house today. Other than our usual lessons, my kids and I have spent most of the day listening to a couple of the Harry Potter audio books. I am still not feeling very well to do much else.

Just finished a teaching a private watercolor lesson. It's weird that someone would pay me so much for private lessons, but I'm going to go with it.

It was a long day, but I feel good.

People tend to assume snow is light because of its powdery appearance, but it's still water, and water is heavy. Probably goes without saying, but be careful.


So a bit of an update.
I attended a basic Health and Safety course yesterday as part of becoming a volunteer lock keeper, which was a pretty interesting experience...then today while out with my date I ended up pulling a cat from the canal(a dog chased it into the water). Everyone was calling me a hero, which I think wasn't really warranted; but I still can't believe it happened.
What an odd week for me.
