CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, but is it a problem?
Not really "hook up" but they do get attracted. And when I say my age, they can't believe it. From male nurses, to co-workers, to co-church members.
The thing is it stops there, and they don't seem to have the guts to pursue, it's either they are married or have a girlfriend or they just want to look.
Edit: Not that I want the married men to pursue me and those that have girlfriends already.

I just have alot of trouble initiating the connection with someone. Once I start talking to them--then I'm fine--& have a great time--but it's that 1st contact that is very hard for me.

The problem, as I see it and what prompted this thread, is that I can't seem to meet any men that have anything OTHER than sex on the brain. Trust me, I'm a big fan of the three letter word, but I just want to know that a guy is interested in what is on the inside (intellect / values / spirituality) as much as he's drawn to the package it comes in.
I don't mind the attention at all - I just wish I could find someone that would pay attention to the other stuff, too.
