This is what the Bible says about sin, as a matter of fact, it is God's Definition of sin.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law:

Here is where we stand because of Jesus.

Rom 8:2-4
2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3) For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Gal. 2:19
For I through the law am dead to the law,
that I might live unto God.

Wherefore, my brethren,
ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ;
that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Have you read the letters of the apostles lately ? They didnt write verses .they wrote whole letters and you need to read them as while letters and they are full of life free from sin and warning of those who refuse to stop.

And I assure you in the name of JESUS.I am not speaking “a belief” I testify that Jesus is come to set is free from sin .
And he has acomplished exactly that.

But it is up to us to obey him now we are made free by him .

The command to repent. In acts 2...is not an auto pilot ,program in hit enter and it just happens..it is a command that we of our own will must decide to Do.
The command to be baptised is not going to automatically happen ..we must obey it by going and doing it as an act of obedience .thats what faith is.the action you do when you truly believe.

Every child who is in the fathers house has the ability to obey it disobey.
But if we disobey we show we do not live God.
Read the full letter of John .
That we are free from sin
Read the full letter to the Romans .
That we Have the ability to sin but must NOT.read the letters from Peter.

I pretty much said I both beleive it and Am set free.
Thats why I said..“ Free to choose”.
And warn, if in our freedom we choose to sin ...and refuse to stop choosing sin.it will master us again and we will lose that freedom and perish.

Freedom doesn't mean you can do any thing you want without consequence.

It means your free to make the choice.

Yes he sets us free.cleanses us.
Now we are free. Not automated machines.
I have the ability to choose .I have the ability to sin .but DO NOT HAVE TO.
Before..I was a slave to sin .but Jesus set me free.
If I now go and use my freedom, to sin, I will become a slave to it again and will perish in it.
