  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Only God is perfect and there is only one God , that makes us all sinners because we are less than God so no matter what we miss and will miss the mark - sin .It's simple , but many people brag on themself how sinless they are nowdays or they say that they never sin...

If so you should look at NT salvation itself repentance, baptism, holy Spirt reception. Also look at the Greek words for believe and faith, for believe it's pisteou I believe which means to act on that belief... in fact there's even a bible verse where I believe pail it is addressed a group and says have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed to indicate this. Faith stems from the Greek word pistis which means to be reliable, dedicated and converted. You are justified by faith and faith itself involves action and a changed lifestyle. Because you have faith in God and his word you will repent, be baptized and get the Holy Ghost.
You aren't made righteous by your actions. But work that pleases God will follow just as growth follows birth.

I can't tell if you agree or disagree lol

It was meant to be thought provoking and soul searing. :)

The standard for entry to the Kingdom of God is perfection.

Now we can really have a conversation. :)

Not so. Christ is just that good.

Sin is what separates one from God, sin is THE reason one is lost.
Then evidently there is no such thing as sin if sin cannot cause the Christian to lose his salvation. Has the man made idea of eternal security done away with sin to where it no longer exists?

That's a false dichotomy.

Baptism and Holy Spirit reception don't require hardcore actions though just acts of faith... the Holy Ghost is free and with baptism you just get in a pool... you guys act like these are hardcore works in a sense like fasting or helping with charities these are just components of the acts 2:38 salvation processes. Being baptized, repenting, Holy Spirit reception is what makes you avliable to be used by God and walk in faith they aren't the same as works

We aren't justified by baptism.

Saved from hell. Sure.
So why wouldn't baptism go under that if it washes away sins according to acts 22:11 I believe and some other scriptures if it's part of being saved from dannation

.
What does it mean to you that your flesh isn't

.
That we haven't been redeemed. We will still sin as believers. Paul lays it out pretty good in Romans 7.

Lets stick to what your belief is.

A question for clarity.

From what you said above, I am not sure as to what you believe.

Is it your Belief, after a person becomes a Believer, and gains Salvation, they remain sinners?

Is this an inquiry or a cross examination question? It will help me shape my answer.

I am asking the question in order to find out what you meant, in the way YOU used the word.

To say we haven't been redeemed, what did you mean when you used it?
