Had he not done as James requested, the false accusations against him would have been thought true.
The false accusations were being made by those who were ignorant to THE TRUTH

My MAIN point is simply THEY SACRIFICED.

Minor points are: You don't know that they didn't take Nazarite vows after becoming Christians. You are completely inserting that into the text. If they were zealous for Torah, they would have continued to take Nazarite vows.

That they are not yet called Christians is an irrelevant point. They are of the Christ following movement of which the followers came to be called Christians.

You do agree that they were Jews that believed in Yeshua do you not?
How do you know they sacrificed when it is clearly written that BEFORE THE SEVEN DAYS ( of their vow) WERE COMPLETE

Paul was arrested

The major point is that we are left not knowing if they made the sacrifices

I'd like to know your thoughts on Haggai 2

Sacrifices and burnt offerings you did not desire
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,
in burnt offerings offered whole;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Paul thankfully didn't get to make that offering

Instead he was arrested
His intent was to make the sacrifice. The intent of James was for Paul to make the sacrifice. the intent of the four Jewish believers was to make the sacrifice. Clearly the status quo of the church at Jerusalem was to continue to make sacrifices.

Yes

And that prick to the heart revelation of THE GOSPEL is that true circumcision of the heart

Romans 12:1 tells you what our acceptable sacrifice before HIM
is

aka spiritual Jews, but not real Jews. That's a different topic.
credentials eh?

Priestly blood line?

You do know that this is a requirement for any who will put their hand to building the temple

Yet who can declare their hands clean when Haggai 2 says otherwise?

....BUT GOD stepped in

The status quo of the church at Jerusalem ?

Please let us know where in scripture we can get a clear understanding of what happened afterwards

When I say "THEY" sacrificed, I wasn't referring to Paul and the four men, I was referring to the church at Jerusalem. Paul intended to sacrifice. I assume the four men went through with the sacrifice, as they were zealous for Torah.

Are you saying that the Book of Acts is misleading us by giving us the example of the Torah zealots, that it should have remained silent about the Church at Jerusalem's Torah keeping?

The church at Jerusalem was not the temple where the unbelieving Jews were still following the old covenant practices and were not yet believers

One of the reason Paul was there was to preach to those who were suspicious of Paul which is why Paul chose to go into the temple with four chosen men to show these that he still followed the laws

He was looking for a way in to preach CHRIST

THAT was ever and always Paul's intent

GOD stepped in not because there was anything wrong with sacrifice, but because it was God's will that Paul testify before various courts including the Roman one. Read the rest of Act 21 and onward.

The status quo of the church at Jerusalem was to be zealous for the Torah. That would include Nazarite vows and their sacrfices.

further please supply proof that these believers under James were worshipping in the temple
If they are zealous for Torah, they would have to be using the Temple.

He was looking for a way in to preach CHRIST
They were already believers. There was no need for him to preach Christ. He was there regarding the charitable offering. He had spent ten years collecting these alms for the believers in jerusalem and it is referred to all over the NT. It is referred to by scholars as the Jerusalem collection.

He knew, however, how hated he was due to the false rumors spread about him and that he might even be killed, but he went anyhow. Going with the four men to offer the sacrifice was the plan he and James came up with to prove to the rest of the Church that the rumors were false, that he was not opposed to believing Jews keeping Torah.
