'Shoot Them All At the Border': DMV Employee Investigated for Facebook Comment on Immigrants

An Oregon woman who works at the DMV has come under fire for comments she purportedly made on Facebook. Lori McAllen's Facebook page is currently untraceable, but a screenshot of the comment has been widely shared online. It says she thinks immigrants crossing into the U.S. should get shot at the border.

In her bio on Facebook, McAllen wrote, "I don't have room in my heart for drama, disrespect or hate." But she seemed to have a very different attitude when discussing immigration policy in the comments section of a Facebook post.

The latest demographic studies estimate that white people will be the minority in the United States by around 2040. I guess some white people are worried about becoming a minority in this country.

The history of how minorities have been treated in this country isn't a very good one. Let's take a look at how minorities have been treated in a country that loves to brag how it was founded on freedom, liberty and justice for all: First, Native Americans were either forcibly removed from or slaughtered for their tribal lands just so European Caucasian (Christian) people could have that land for themselves. Second, Native Americans were denied U.S. citizenship for 148 years until the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924. Thirdly, Native Americans were denied religious freedom for 202 years until the American Indian Religious Freedom Act of 1978. And lastly, Native American children were arbitrarily taken from their families and forcibly assimilated and Christianized in an effort to destroy Native American culture through "Kill the Indian, Save the Man" cultural genocide in the American Indian Boarding Schools.

Black people also suffered greatly in this country too. There was legalized slavery for 89 years until slavery was finally abolished in 1865 and then the descendants of the freed slaves were legally segregated, discriminated against, and denied rights and equality for the next 99 years after slavery was abolished until the Civil Rights Movement in 1964. For 188 years of this country's entire history, black people were denied civil rights and equality, and were considered inferior to white people.

It's only been 54 years since black people and other minorities were finally given civil rights and equality and America will be 242 years old come this fourth of July. That's not a very good track record for a nation like America that perpetually brags about being founded on freedom, liberty and justice of all. It's astonishing how some conservative Christians even have the nerve to claim that America was founded on Christian principles or claim that America is a Christian nation today.

Well, considering all of these historical examples of how minorities have been treated in this country, it's really no wonder some white people are worried about becoming the minority in the near future.

I don't like what she said but I also don't like the Mob Mentality religious fervor Leftists have worked themselves into since....for years, now. So she left a horrible comment on Facebook. She must then be hunted down, found, and her employer hounded until she is terminated. And good luck to her going forward in finding a job.

It's awful what she said and the response is not much better. Half the nation are certifiable Witch Hunters now. They are ready to burn your life down at the stake in their religious frenzy.

They are descendants of immigrants and colonizers, the only real natives are those who lived on the land since the beginning.

Why would I feel compelled to defend you? I don't feel compelled to defend anything because I don't see these folks as a threat. If your competitiveness in the labor market is threatened by some dude who just trekked a thousand miles across Central America with nothing but the clothes he was wearing and a complete lack of English skills, then you oughta up your game a bit.

And it's not altruism, at least not primarily. I'm a big fan of the pragmatic meritocracy (while admitting that it's got its flaws) - as such, I'm not overly possessive of the advantages into which I was born. I'm thankful for them, but I'm not proud of them in the way I would be of something that I actually worked to earn. If somebody want to hike all that way to better their lot in life, good for them. I could only ever dream of growing a pair that big.
