Is this something to do with phenomenal consciousness. That seems to be the trend nowadays. After experiments like Wigners Friend and Wheelers Delated Choice many ideas about consciosness being fundemental have emerged. Chalmers writes some good papers on this.

But unlike physics or neuroscience the idea of some sense or interaction is going on besides just the physical aspects calculated for time and space. QM revealed this with its non local interactions. Some say this closely reflects how consciousness works.

Intuitive we know there is more going on besides the physical parameters. Science seperated the subject from what was measured but now it seems we cannot seperate ourselves from what is going on. Like consciousness is entangled and influences outcomes.

We sense this with non physical and non local interactions like we are not just empty physical vessels moving through time and space but actually interacting with it. We can't put our finger on exactly explaining this but it seems so intuitively right and fits what we are experiencing.
