It's not immigrants who create third world cesspools. Most immigrants are young and hardworking. Within one generation they are fully assimilated, owning businesses, attending college, etc.

If we don't want to become a third world cesspool, we should look closer.

Don't vote for dictators.
Eliminate income inequality and poverty through fair wages, progressive taxation, universal healthcare, excellent education.

Instead of outsourcing to China, build factories in Central America. I have been on mission trips there and have seen unbelievable work ethics and motivation among the people there.

And with opportunity at home they wouldn't need to leave. Mexicans are immigrating less because their economy has improved.

Trump just repeated his loyalty to the Russian dictator:

The former president appeared to reference a weekend article from Baker, which came after Trump mocked questions about authoritarianism last week. Trump during an event with Fox News host Sean Hannity told a crowd that he would be a dictator only on "day one," and then he's going to close the border and get to drilling.

It's available everywhere. No point in denying the facts.
We have a corrupt government and corrupt establishment that seeks more power and more control. Many in support of the president want to see Donald Trump put in prison for the rest of his life, just like Putin's political opponent. The rule of law has been violated in order to do so, and we thus are losing our nation. I've dealt a lot with corruption within our federal government, and we need to start holding people accountable and re-establish due process and the rule of law.

Nothing like the corruption planned by Trump and his lackeys.

A second Donald Trump administration will take action “criminally or civilly” against people in the media, an ally of the former U.S. president warned.

“We will go out and find the conspirators, not just in the government, but in the media, yes, we’re going to come after the people in the media, who lied about American citizens, who helped Joe Biden rig the elections, we’re going to come after you,” Kash Patel said on Steve Bannon’s podcast, referring to a potential second Trump leadership.

“Whether it’s criminally or civilly, we’ll figure that out, but yeah, we’re putting you all on notice.”

Trump's big failure first time around, was his failure to destroy independent media. Obviously, he's not intending to make the same mistake if he gets another chance at us.

Trump's problems are precisely because we started doing that. He's being held accountable for the first time in his pampered life.

That is not independent media, that is the Soros/DNC media.

Trump's an outsider. The government corruption has been there for decades. The major media has been establishment for decades. I was asked to work with an Associated Press bureau chief on a lengthy story, and the one thing he left out was government wrongdoing (the government was supposed to have turned over something to an individual and they not, no question) which would have put an entirely different spin on the story. When I asked why all I received was dead silence. Not one line in a long story. What we have now with Trump is clear judicial misconduct, and it is scary how few Democrats speak up. Laws are being broken by this administration left and right.

Trump's an outsider.
We fired him. For good reason. He's a crook who says he intends to be a dictator "for just a day." But then he said he's release his tax returns "in a few days", so you'd have to be pretty dumb to believe that.

The major media has been establishment for decades.
Anyone who supposes that "the media" is a monolith with one message is unhinged. Even among the major networks, you have sources as different as MSNBC and Fox News. And there are scores of smaller sources that are readily available via internet and other channels. C'mon.

What has the far right in a dither is that a free press makes the kind of state they want, impossible.

What we have now with Trump is clear judicial misconduct
No one really believes that. He lied, he committed fraud, he stole things, he sexually assaulted a woman, and now he's being held accountable. That's how it works. He's become unhinged because he had come to believe the rules don't apply to him, and the reality is making him crazier and crazier
Laws are being broken by this administration left and right.
It comes down to evidence. Get some of that, and you'll do better. Good luck.

Put the name calling and dislike aside. The twisting and the turning of laws to try and find Trump guilty of something are incredible. A judge used an amazing valuation of Mar-a-lago that I think few if any would believe if Trump were not involved. The same for this fine in another case, originating from completely unsubstantiated charges against Trump. I've been defamed, do you think the amount of the fine is within reason? Really? I bet you would be objecting if Obama were involved.

Those are just facts. Some of those cases have already been determined in court, and he was found liable. No point in denial. And I'm not the only one noticing that Trump has been acting more and more unhinged.

Nikki Haley on Saturday escalated her attacks on Donald J. Trump, directly criticizing his mental acuity for the first time a day after the former president appeared to confuse her for Nancy Pelosi, the former House Speaker, during his Friday night rally in New Hampshire.

In a news conference with reporters after her campaign event in Peterborough, N.H., Ms. Haley stopped short of calling Mr. Trump mentally unfit. But she did question whether he would be “on it” enough to lead the nation.

“My parents are up in age, and I love them dearly,” she said. “But when you see them hit a certain age, there is a decline. That’s a fact — ask any doctor, there is a decline.”

At his rally, the former president accused Ms. Haley of failing to provide proper security during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, and connected her to the House committee that later investigated it. Ms. Haley, who was not holding a government role at the time of the attack, had been at home in South Carolina that day, according to campaign officials.

He's old, he hasn't kept himself in good shape, and he's under tremendous pressure after losing fraud and slander trials, and now looking at serious criminal charges in upcoming trials. Not surprising that his mind is going off the rails.

The twisting and the turning of laws to try and find Trump guilty of something are incredible.
He committed fraud in New York numerous times, to get loans and to illegally cut his tax bill. That's already settled. He sexually assaulted that woman, and then lied about it. That's settled. He was caught stealing classified documents from the United States, and then lied about it. Matter of public record. He pressured the republican AG of Georgia to "find" him enough votes to win. The AG recorded his attempt.

All this is the reality. Find a way to live with it.
I bet you would be objecting if Obama were involved.
Do you honestly think Obama would be stupid enough to do all those things? Seriously?

Considering that there are press sources that both venerate (Fox) and vilify (MSNBC) Trump, it is interesting that it is Trump's own words that fill me with disgustand disdain.

His words. On you tube. Without interpretation.

His petty vindictive words.
His dictatorial words.
His insults to people who, in almost every case, have far better character and expotentially more intelligence.
His threats.
His courting of Putin.
His absolute lack of compassion in his speech.
His calling brave, self-sacrificing soldiers losers.
His name calling.
All in his own words, vicious and nauseating.
Not because of MSNBC commentary. By the time MSNBC gets to the commentary I feel like heaving.

So I disagree with your statement.

You have every right to not like Trump's words, but fraud has been committed within the judicial system by those who will twist and break laws in order to "get Trump." Likewise the Biden administration has gone after peaceful protesters, like the guy praying at the abortion clinic, his residence was raided by the FBI. The Mara Lago valuation of $18 million by a judge is fraud committed by the judge--look up properties in the area on Zillow like I did. These attempt to go after political opponents and imprison them, in violation of the U.S. Constitution, is just like what happens in Russia. It is chilling and more and more Americans realize it may be them the next time.

If these cases are as fake as you say, I can't see why $50 million for teams of high paid lawyers couldn't expose those errors.

So far $450 million in fines later, with interest accruing at 9%, the lawyers have nothing going for them...

It is exposed. It's just like Putin going after his political opponents and all who oppose him. Call it what ever you want, certainly election interference, judicial fraud. There never in the history of the United States been such a case when there has been not victim. These charges are especially for Trump, how dare he run against the endorsed Democrat candidate for president.

The trials have been covered widely. The "cases" presented by the defense were so woefully devoid of evidence.

What I see is cowardly judges bending over backwards to postpone trials.

Don't the American people deserve verdicts? Shouldn't Trump want to be exonerated instead of running a platform of "help me get immunity--keep me out of jail?"

The American people deserve justice. The judge should be disbarred and prosecuted on fraud. This is an attack on democrat elections and upon the people.

That is not independent media, that is the Soros/DNC media.

Attacking the media and claiming it is run by a clandestine enemy, and then convincing people to believe that, is one of the first steps toward killing democracy.

Replace "Soros/DNC" with "the Jews", and you'll see just how horrifying this kind rhetoric actually is.

Also "Soros" is just another way of saying "the Jews", but in a more subtle dogwhistle form. Today it's Soros, yesteryear it was Rothschild. But it always means the same thing. It's just that saying "George Soros" sounds more politically correct, and for most people who would find blatant antisemitim deplorable, it works all the same.

Peel back the layers of the onion.
