'Reality as an absolute', is your belief .. and it takes a mind to conceive a belief and is never independent from one.

Does that apply when you are dead?

Your belief obviously dies with you.
Others' beliefs (either the same/similar) remain, of course as long as they live .. they have minds/perceptions too, y'see). .. and those beliefs are what they have 'reality' mean.

All beliefs require a human mind/perception.
All of this is objectively demonstrable .. and there is zip objective evidence for some reality 'which exists', independently from some human mind.
