However, there is a BIG difference teaching something that is a theory as truth. I have some theories, but I classify them as possiblilties. The unknown.
Not teaching something that is not Biblical as fact. That is a whole nother thing.
We, Christ's Own are held to a very high standard of teaching. We represent our Savior who is all truth. When we start putting theories forth as truth, we can lead others astray. This is a problem, IMHO. We are Christ's representatives here. To the world and some of us who know more about God's Word, we share with others who may not know things about God's Word.
That is a responsibility my friend. One that Christ tells us very directly we will be held accountable for. We are not to cause others, maybe those weaker in scripture and understanding in error.
Matthew 18:6
6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
