Hebrews 8:6-10 Paul says it is Jesus who is speaking the TEN Commandments at Sinai
No he doesn't or you'd have posted it.

I find your logic "illusive" just then - since I just posted the text above that shows the point you appear to claim... does not exist.

However as with all Bible teaching - this involves paying attention to Bible details. Let's use the example above.

Hebrews 8
6 But now He (Christ) has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He (Christ) is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.

A New Covenant
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second. 8 For finding fault with them, He (Christ) says,

“Behold, days are coming, says the Lord,
When I (Christ) will effect a new covenant
With the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;
9 Not like the covenant which I (Christ) made with their fathers
On the day when I (Christ) took them by the hand
To lead them out of the land of Egypt;
For they did not continue in My covenant,
And I did not care for them, says the Lord.
10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
After those days, says the Lord:
I will put My laws into their minds,
And I will write them on their hearts.
And I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.
Paul here quotes Jeremiah 31. Paul uses the word "kainos" which means no prior existence. The word is used by the foremost Jewish scholar of the day. Essentially you accuse Paul of lying.

Its seems elementary to me. Yahshua followed Yahweh's law. Yahshua told us to follow him. How can you follow Yahshua, without following Yahweh's law; if Yahshua was following Yahweh's law?

Think of it as a conga line, with Yahweh leading the way. Come and join us. It's FUN!
Do what Yahshua taught. Yahshua didn't teach or bring the law (see John 1:17).

Interesting response seems to be in a long string of false accusations one after another.
Since John 10 is a false accusation, explian how. I need to understand how it agrees with your ideologies.

Saying I believe you don't understand the NT isn't an accusation.

Now where does Isaiah 66:23 say anything about what happens on the sabbath? That question isn't an accusation. Neither is saying it says nothing about on the sabbath.

Passed my time limit for today.

MATTHEW.5: = 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Have the heaven and earth pass away.?

"Till all is fulfilled" is not what you think it means, ie as to mean it removes the Law from this earth. Can Christians commit murder and break the Law at EXODUS.20:13.?.
.
.
.
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

This verse could be a lie because Jesus never violated the law or it could be proof indeed jots and tittles of the law have passed. The quoted Luke text allows for Hebrews 7:12 to be true.
.
LUKE.24: = The Scriptures Opened
44 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”
_ _ _ _ _ _ _

At LUKE.24, after His resurrection, the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to His disciples and explained to them how the words of prophesy concerning Him in the Law and the Prophets and the Psalms were fulfilled, in order to bring salvation to all nations, beginning with the Jews at Jerusalem. The fulfilment of the Law and the Prophets and the Psalms at MATTHEW.5:18 did not mean the removal of the Law, which in fact said the opposite.
... IOW, you have misinterpreted the Scriptures. So, you have misinterpreted HEBREWS.7:12 also.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

HEBREWS.7: = Need for a New Priesthood
11 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar.

14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _

Again, HEBREWS.7 is just saying that since the 1st Advent of Jesus Christ to earth in 000AD, salvation no longer comes through the Law, but through faith in Jesus.

Do you know that before the 1st Advent of Jesus Christ to earth in 000BC, salvation for the Jews came through the Law(LUKE.16:19-31; MATTHEW.17:3).?

That is not true.
Moses and the law pointed to Christ, so yes the rich man's 5 brothers should listen to them.
And how does Moses and Elijah appearing on the Mount of Transfiguration say that salvation ever came through the law.
But we do have Galatians 3:19
If there had been a law that could have given life, then righteousness would have been by the law.
So we see that even the 10 commandments could not give life. They could only point out sin.
For by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Abraham died at around 2000BC and Moses died at around 1400BC. The Saviour Jesus Christ died on the Cross at around 33AD. This means that Abraham and Moses, while living on earth, did not hear the gospel of Christ, ie they only heard the commandments or Law of God.
... So, how did Abraham, Moses, beggar Lazarus, Elijah and the other faithful Old Testament Jews inherit heaven.?

Habakkik 2:4 The just shall live by faith.
Abraham lived by faith.
Moses lived by faith.
Elijah was a man of faith. Hebrews 11:35 says Women received their dead raised to life again. Elijah did that. James 5:16-18
5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Those were prayers of faith.
There is no other record of this Lazarus, but he didn't get there by keeping the law.

Do what Yahshua taught. Yahshua didn't teach or bring the law (see John 1:17).
That verse says nothing about Yahshua not teaching the law.

These verses say just the opposite of your unfounded claim.

(CLV) Mt 19:16
And lo! one coming to Him said, "Teacher, what good shall I be doing that I should be having life eonian?"

(CLV) Mt 19:17
Yet He said to him, "Why are you asking Me concerning good? One is good. Yet if you are wanting to be entering into life, keep the precepts."

And what would Moses and the prophets said to them?
Moses and the prophets pointed to Christ. Look at Luke 24 where Jesus shewed those disciples all the Scriptures concerning Himself. And He began with Moses.

This young man wanted a quick way into eternal life. He was not willing to admit he was a sinner.
When Jesus gave him the commandments he said that he had kept all those from his youth. Romans 3:10 would disagree with him. So Yahshua used the law for its intended purpose. To expose sin. When the first commandments He gave didn't work, Jesus told him to sell all he had, and follow Him. But he showed how he was breaking the 10th Commandment. And when he saw he couldn't get his quick solution, he went away sorrowful.

Hello discipler.

Abraham believed God and was declared righteous, yet Abraham saw the day of Christ.

John 8:56
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.

Hello HARK!

Matthew 19:17
And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."

There is only One who is good, then logically we must not be good people. The question arises of course, if we are evil and the law is made for murders and adulterers. How can evil people obey the commandments?

It appears to me, that the ten commandments do nothing more than condemn us all. I don't know anyone who could obey the ten commandments, certainly not in thought as Jesus pointed out.

I agree with Paul in Romans.

Romans 7
22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?

I repeat, the law condemns us all.

Psalm 119
א
ALEPH.

1O the happiness of those perfect in the way, They are walking in the law of Yahweh,

2O the happiness of those keeping His testimonies, With the whole heart they seek Him.

3Yea, they have not done iniquity, In His ways they have walked.

4Thou hast commanded us Thy precepts to keep diligently,

5O that my ways were prepared to keep Thy statutes,

6Then I am not ashamed In my looking unto all Thy commands.

7I confess Thee with uprightness of heart, In my learning the judgments of Thy righteousness.

8Thy statutes I keep, leave me not utterly!

ב
BETH.

9With what doth a young man purify his path? To observe — according to Thy word.

10With all my heart I have sought Thee, Let me not err from Thy commands.

11In my heart I have hid Thy saying, That I sin not before Thee.

12Blessed [art] Thou, O Yahweh, teach me Thy statutes.

13With my lips I have recounted All the judgments of Thy mouth.

14In the way of Thy testimonies I have joyed, As over all wealth.

15In Thy precepts I meditate, And I behold attentively Thy paths.

16In Thy statutes I delight myself, I do not forget Thy word.

ג
GIMEL.

17Confer benefits on Thy servant, I live, and I keep Thy word.

18Uncover mine eyes, and I behold wonders out of Thy law.

19A sojourner I [am] on earth, Hide not from me Thy commands.

20Broken hath my soul for desire Unto Thy judgments at all times.

21Thou hast rebuked the cursed proud, Who are erring from Thy commands.

22Remove from me reproach and contempt, For Thy testimonies I have kept.

23Princes also sat — against me they spoke, Thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes,

24Thy testimonies also [are] my delight, The men of my counsel!

ד
DALETH.

25Cleaved to the dust hath my soul, Quicken me according to Thy word.

26My ways I have recounted, And Thou answerest me, teach me Thy statutes,

27The way of Thy precepts cause me to understand, And I meditate in Thy wonders.

28My soul hath dropped from affliction, Establish me according to Thy word.

29The way of falsehood turn aside from me And with Thy law favour me.

30The way of faithfulness I have chosen, Thy judgments I have compared,

31I have adhered to Thy testimonies, O Yahweh, put me not to shame.

32The way of Thy commands I run, For Thou dost enlarge my heart!

ה
HE.

33Show me, O Yahweh, the way of Thy statutes, And I keep it — [to] the end.

34Cause me to understand, and I keep Thy law, And observe it with the whole heart.

35Cause me to tread in the path of Thy commands, For in it I have delighted.

36Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, And not unto dishonest gain.

37Remove mine eyes from seeing vanity, In Thy way quicken Thou me.

38Establish to Thy servant Thy saying, That [is] concerning Thy fear.

39Remove my reproach that I have feared, For Thy judgments [are] good.

40Lo, I have longed for Thy precepts, In Thy righteousness quicken Thou me,

ו
VAU.

41And meet me doth Thy kindness, O Yahweh, Thy salvation according to Thy saying.

42And I answer him who is reproaching me a word, For I have trusted in Thy word.

43And Thou takest not utterly away From my mouth the word of truth, Because for Thy judgment I have hoped.

44And I keep Thy law continually, To the age and for ever.

45And I walk habitually in a broad place, For Thy precepts I have sought.

46And I speak of Thy testimonies before kings, And I am not ashamed.

47And I delight myself in Thy commands, That I have loved,

48And I lift up my hands unto Thy commands, That I have loved, And I do meditate on Thy statutes!

ז
ZAIN.

49Remember the word to Thy servant, On which Thou hast caused me to hope.

50This [is] my comfort in mine affliction, That Thy saying hath quickened me.

51The proud have utterly scorned me, From Thy law I have not turned aside.

52I remembered Thy judgments of old, O Yahweh, And I comfort myself.

53Horror hath seized me, Because of the wicked forsaking Thy law.

54Songs have been to me Thy statutes, In the house of my sojournings.

59I have reckoned my ways, And turn back my feet unto Thy testimonies.

60I have made haste, And delayed not, to keep Thy commands.

61Cords of the wicked have surrounded me, Thy law I have not forgotten.

62At midnight I rise to give thanks to Thee, For the judgments of Thy righteousness.

63A companion I [am] to all who fear Thee, And to those keeping Thy precepts.

67Before I am afflicted, I — I am erring, And now Thy saying I have kept.

68Good Thou [art], and doing good, Teach me Thy statutes.

69Forged against me falsehood have the proud, I with the whole heart keep Thy precepts.

70Insensate as fat hath been their heart, I — in Thy law I have delighted.

71Good for me that I have been afflicted, That I might learn Thy statutes.

72Better to me [is] the law of Thy mouth Than thousands of gold and silver!

76Let, I pray Thee, Thy kindness be to comfort me, According to Thy saying to Thy servant.

77Meet me do Thy mercies, and I live, For Thy law [is] my delight.

78Ashamed are the proud, For [with] falsehood they dealt perversely with me. I meditate in Thy precepts.

85The proud have digged for me pits, That [are] not according to Thy law.

86All Thy commands [are] faithfulness, [With] falsehood they have pursued me, Help Thou me.

That's not true. ...

LUKE.16: = 27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’
29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’
30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’
31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’”
And what would Moses and the prophets said to them?
Moses and the prophets pointed to Christ. Look at Luke 24 where Jesus shewed those disciples all the Scriptures concerning Himself. And He began with Moses.
LUKE.24 = The Scriptures Opened
44 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _

Again, you are likely misinterpreting the Scriptures.

At LUKE.16, the 'Moses and the prophets' refers to 'Moses Law and the Prophets' = the Old Testament. Jesus Christ was not referring to the persons of Moses and the prophets, as is your likely interpretation.

Similarly, at MATTHEW.7:12 = 12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Today, if you tell a Jew to listen to or hear 'Moses and the prophets', he/she will understand it as referring to Moses Law and the prophetic books as found in the Old Testament Bible or the Word of God.

Today, Christ's disciples know that the Law and the Prophets pointed to the 1st Coming of Jesus Christ to earth at around 000 BC.
... But to the Old Testament Jews like beggar-Lazarus, the sinful rich man, Moses, Elijah, etc, they would not have known that the Law and the Prophets pointed to the coming Lord Jesus Christ at around 000 AD. In fact, most of the Jews rejected Jesus of Nazareth as the Christ/Messiah and caused Him to be crucified through false accusations. Thereafter, the Jews appointed false-christs or anti-christs for themselves to lead them into armed rebellion against the Romans.
... Today, the Jews are still waiting for their coming Messiah/Christ, as promised by their G_d/YHWH in the Law and the Prophets.

So, it is false for you to say that Moses and the prophets pointed Christ to beggar Lazarus, the sinful rich man and other Old Testament Jews because at that time Jesus Christ and the Cross had not yet come and they only had the Law and the Prophets from God.

Hello discipler.

Abraham believed God and was declared righteous, yet Abraham saw the day of Christ.

John 8:56
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.
.
Abraham died at around 2000BC. Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross at around 33AD. How did Abraham see His day and was glad.?
... I'm not saying that he did not, but just asking how.

God shows prophets the future.

And as Gal 3:8 says "the Gospel was preached to Abraham"

1 Peter 1 says this
10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.

From Adam to this very day - the Gospel has been the same.

The New Covenant in both OT and NT where we have forgiveness of sins, the Law of God written on the heart under the new birth, adoption into the family of God.

Heb 4:2 "the Gospel was preached to us just as it was to them also"

Being saved by grace means being saved via the "ONE Gospel" of Gal 1:6-9 -- and that means the New Covenant where sins are forgiven and the heart is changed.

Please explain the definition for the term "My Law" as referenced by Jeremiah in the NEW Covenant - Jer 31:31-33

"This IS the New Covenant I will make.... I will write My LAW on their mind and heart"

Some have attempted to spin-doctor the text of Jer 31:31-33 away from its obvious meaning -- and yet we have these irrefutable facts.

1. No text says "not the LAW that I gave at Sinai"
2. No text says that Jeremiah did not know the TEN Commandments were in the LAW of God
3. No scholars claim that the LAW of God known to Jeremiah did not include God's Ten Commandments

Answer to the question above is for certain that: Jeremiah and Paul were in agreement on that point according to Acts 24

Acts 24
14But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets

Now here is a key detail - Luke 24 is at a point when Christ is 'hidden' He has disguised Himself and is pointing them "sola scriptura" to the Word of God so that they will be able to see the Gospels as it is in the Word. Why do that if simply being overwhelmed by the presence of the risen Christ was "better"?

I don't see how I misinterpreted that. He was clearly not expounding the 10 Commandments. But He was telling them about the Scriptures concerning Himself.
I would imagine He showed them the Bronze Serpent, the Rock that gave water, Manna from Heaven, and Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53. Probably more than those, but Christ was clearly prophesied of in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms.
The Pharisees just refused to believe it. There are still Jews today that don't believe the Scriptures about Christ. They are still waiting for Messiah.

Yahshua used the law for its intended purpose. To expose sin. When the first commandments He gave didn't work, Jesus told him to sell all he had, and follow Him. But he showed how he was breaking the 10th Commandment. And when he saw he couldn't get his quick solution, he went away sorrowful.

The Law of God defines what righteousness is - and thus what sin is being the rebellion against what is righteous. Thus "sin IS transgression of the LAW" 1 John 3:4 and as you point out the Ten Commandments are most certainly included in the Commandments of God that define what good is and point out what sin is.

Thus when Paul says 'what matters is keeping the Commandments of God' he is in no way trying to exclude things like "do not take God's name in vain".

The New Covenant writes the LAW of God on the heart and mind.

The LAW cannot forgive sins, adopt us into the family of God or write itself on our heart and mind.

But the New Covenant (Gospel) - can.

Moses Law consists of 613 laws that were kept by the Jews, especially during Old Testament time. JOHN.1:29 says that Jesus Christ was the Lamb of God sacrificed on the Cross to take away the sin of the world and save them from hell when they die. LEVITICUS.1-7 is the law of sacrifice to God. LEVITICUS.4:32 mentioned about the sacrifice of a lamb as a sin offering to God. So, the Law of Moses do point to Jesus Christ but was only revealed to His apostles and disciples, and to Christians today; and not to Old Testament Jews.
... IOW, Old Testament Jews like beggar Lazarus, the sinful rich man, Moses, Elijah, etc, had no idea that the Law and the Prophets pointed specifically to Jesus of Nazareth of the New Testament(circa 33AD onward) as the Christ/Messiah. So, your statement below about LUKE.16:29-31 is not true, ...

Did Jesus show to beggar Lazarus, the sinful rich man, Moses, Elijah and other Old Testament Jews all the Scriptures concerning Himself like at LUKE.24:44.?

Btw, do you know why the rich Jewish man of LUKE.16:19-31 was sent to hell after he died.?
