Lol the leap frog counting numbers and a alphabet we are missing half of them.. My fridge looks horried, I hate my fridge, it looks like the people who lived here before us, thought it would be fun to paint the fridge plus its too small

heheheh....my old room mates used to tease that if something didn't look right, just find me, and I'd paint it. Hubby figured out that was pretty much true by our 2nd year of marriage.

Paint is a good friend of mine.

(I like to refinish antique furniture, but some wood is just so damaged you may as well paint.)

So, paint a fridge? Yeah! Why not!?!?!

Anyway, I'll be off most of today, I have a wicked cold and am going back to bed after I drive the kids to school.

yeah, me too.
There's a primary blue wood armchair on my front porch as evidence.
It was a nice ugly dirty brown, but very sturdy.
Then I painted it a beautiful sage green, but my youngest child ruined it by putting stickers and glitter on it, so hence the blue.
It's very bright, but I don't really like it anymore.
I do hate to get rid of it, they don't make them like that anymore.

Funny on the stickers and paint. One of the things I painted was a bunk bed/book shelf combo for my daughter. It was the thick dark 70's knotty pine (not pretty), and I painted it white....the cut-outs made it look almost castle-like, and the book shelves are GOLD in our house of book piles.

Sure enough, within one year she'd stuck plastic stars and horse stickers all over the book shelf areas. She'd re-peeled them and glued them when she realized the stars would fall off on humid days.

Hope she still likes them when she is in high school, that bed isn't coming down from the 2nd story until little girlfriend takes off into the great wide world.

Sounds like my baby's room at her dad's house.

When we were there, me and the kids first painted the bunks white, and then with multicolor kid's furniture paints, we splatter painted all over the individual pieces, some we let her put her handprints on, some we let my older dd, then 3, put her handprints on.

We could not take it, but he has kept it for her, so at least she enjoys it while she is there.

Hard to leave such precious memories behind, isn't it? But you are right, that gives her a sense of comfort to have things she knows and loves in both places (that coming from me, a grown-child of 3 divorces).

I suppose I could have left it in there, but it was starting to hurt my gum more and more, and give me headaches.
So hopefully this will do the trick.
although, it can grow back the dentist told me.

yeah...dental issues stink!
My DH hates going to the dentist...they always razz him about not flossing.
He hates to floss. and he won't do it! period!
I floss daily. if i don't, my gums start bleeding.
I have all my own teeth, but way too many fillings.
I never took care of my teeth as a child, and my mom never encouraged me in that area.
I brush and floss my boys' teeth every night.
The morning brush is up to them (except Jake of course.) So they get a chance to do it themselves, and anything they miss, i get at night.
Now they are telling me they want to brush their own teeth at night. So i let them, but i follow them up...it's not that i don't trust them, i just don't want them to have the problems i did.
wow! that turned out longer than i planned! LOL!

Aww marezee I hope your mouth feels better soon. I have to have a tooth pulled soon, I have an absest wisdom tooth.

Anyways, I feel like going back to bed, but I keep waking up choking and sneezing, I feel like my eyes are huge and puffy

Hugs to all who have had surgery, who are disappointed with their refrigerators (or who have to defrost their freezers), who would like a nice piece of furniture to stay nice, and who drive entirely too much to be considered "stay at home".
