I'm sorry that you are so angry about this topic. I do believe that God does love the human body...He designed in His image. And actually, God didn't dress Adam and Eve the first time...they did it. He just gave them better garments because they were going to be banished. If you can show me in the Bible where I am wrong, I am more than happy to listen.

And actually, it is a good thing that I'm not afraid of the naked body because I am a nurse. My responsibilities include cleaning and caring for parts of the body that sick and elderly people can not care for themselves. If I were not able to do this, these people would get sick and die and loose any semblance of human dignity...simple as that.

And I don't try to make any rules...I don't have that kind of power and don't even wish I did. I have chosen a career where I serve people...often in their most humbling circumstances. Unless you are lucky enough to die young and healthy, you may be grateful one day that the human body does not repulse or scare people like me.

i was never in college but i went to camps with friends and we would stay in bunk houses and at night we would all undress and sleep nude etc. and it was never a big deal. i feel same with a college dorm if your there to study and sleep nothing wrong with being naked as long as your both comfy with it and its not sexual at all.

Why all the judgement on this forum? I actually find JMinnesota's experience normal for guys. In the girls dorm, we wore t-shirts and underwear when it was all girls. There is nothing strange or wicked or ungodly about either of these situations. If you are going to make such harsh accusations, please back it up with scripture.

i agree i think its funny how its ok for girls to be in there underware together or even nude and no one really thinks anything but 2 guys in a dorm room naked and its like creepy and bad and etc. its like why is the body so nasty and embarassing. growing up me and my friend use to see eachother naked all the time. we would play all day and get all dirty and my mom or his mom would have us strip naked and shower before we sat down for dinner.

what about gym locker rooms is it sick when boys are in the shower together getting clean?? Also if dorms if ya cant undress in your own dorm how are ya supost to change clothes? have to get off the idea that nudity is dirty

god made men the way they are and he made women the way they are. from 7th grade to 12th in gym class i had to shower with 10 to 15 boys and no one was embarassed or shy about it. we all had the same thing so it was never a big deal.

I love these nudity threads because they always bring out the religious folks. They storm in with their "God says" statements but have no Scriptural authority to back it up.

Let's face it, the Bible does not condemn or condone nudity. Nudity is one of those neutral things; it's how it's used that's important. People can use it for evil purposes or good purposes. It reminds me of the statement about guns, "Guns don't kill people, people do".

Tell me...how do you get dressed and shower if you don't get naked once in a while?

Nowhere in this thread do we say that it is okay to go in public this way...but a dorm room is a private residence where one of the normal activities is TO CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES....and YES, it is okay to do that without hiding in a closet...(changing clothes is actually not a normal activity to do in a closet...those rooms are for storing clothing).

yea nothing wrong with guys being naked around other guys in locker rooms or dorms etc. if you were with a girl then yea that would be wrong but most dorms i know its either all males or all females etc.

Maybe its just me, but I would rather not get naked with another man in the same room. That's pretty awkward.
