Now, that doesn't line up perfectly with either of your guesses, but it is definitely closer to your "Real time" estimate.

As for your last 3 statements, my responses are as follows. 1) By scientific logic, it would be reasonable to assume things can be fossilized 70 million years ago. That is because there are fossils that are 70 million years old, requiring fossilization to have occurred 70 million years ago.
