The problem is that this works against 99% of those who believe in evolution as well.

I failed every question on this test but I think evolution is true because I trust that people who are in sciences are honest and intelligent people. Same goes for the overwhelming majority of those who believe in evolution but are not biologists. How many people who believe a certain idea - that black holes exist, that an iron age existed, that the Hero's Journey is a basic formula - have any ability to back those beliefs up with hard evidence? Especially against a rigorous pseudoscience that uses a lot of big words like creationism?

Especially since creationism seems to make so much sense. An eye is complex, therefore it must be designed, animals don't give birth to whole other species, etc.

The problem is Creationists do not know why their sources are untrustworthy and how to detect biases, not that they themselves are scientifically illiterate.

Creationists believe that the ground is supported by "giant pillars". Do you think it is trustworthy? Can you detect the bias?

A geologist beyond a Ph.D. level may start to appreciate the truth of it.

But I know something about biology that they don't.

If you ask creationist who is an expert in biology he would be able to tell, but none of these issue have anything to whether we evolved from "pond scum". I'd just wish evolutionists would be consistent in thei criticism, since so many anti-creationist book go off into a tangent that the author knows nothing about.
