Pursuing a Man vs. Waiting to be Pursued

Explain to me "all" and "nothing". If a man is pursuing and she does nothing...wouldn't that mean she's not interested? And vice versa?

The girl should at least put some effort forth in pursuing the guy. It can be as simple as making an effort to go over and talk to him. Sit by him or even ask him to do a certain activity. I would allow him to make the first moves and do the majority of the pursuing, but that doesn't mean you have to sit back and make him do it all. Ask him to go for a walk sometime, or an activity you enjoy. It reinforces to him that you are interested and also gives him a "break" from being in control all the time.

Does that make sense? That's just my own personal opinion though

I wonder how many guys actually are. I kind of always thought it was fear of rejection more than anything. I stopped looking at women as though they were a different species back in high school, once I got over the fear of rejection and got comfortable in my own skin and all. Every now and then I'll meet someone who makes me nervous, but I LOVE that feeling and I feed off of it and we end up dating, so lol ...

Friends are interested in each other. Lovers are MORE interested in each other. If the object of one's interest cannot match one's own level of interest then one can safely conclude that approaching the other for the purpose of a higher level of intimacy would be invasive and inappropriate.

I think that it is appropriate for a woman to pursue a guy. Guys need hints if a girl likes them. We are pretty stupid. If the girl gives the green light to go ahead the by all means this should be taken as a sign to go ahead.
