WOW! THIS IS GREAT! A PLACE TO PRACTICE PROPHECY! I THINK IT IS A WONDERFUL IDEA!
BUT FIRST, THERE HAS BEEN MENTION OF RULES. COULD SOMEONE GO OVER THEM AGAIN? CLARIFY PLEASE? AND WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT CENTER ALIGNMENT AND BOLD FACE TYPE FOR INTERNET PROPHECY? THAT'S A NEW ONE!
ALTHOUGH, I HAVE NOT OFTEN BEEN GIVEN A WORD TO SPEAK, IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE, AND I WELCOME THIS OPPORTUNITY TO STRENGHTEN THIS GIFT AND GROW IN IT! THANKS!

The rules have been sorted out. I asked for confirmation from Flaglady and she says that there is no restriction on personal prophecy on CF.

I added a caution of my own, that personal prophecy is better received when it is requested.

Don't take any notice of the thought of having to use centred text or bold. That is just a person's slinging off about another person who posts that way. There is a particular medical reason why that is done, and it is best if the person himself told you about that.

With the permission of the OP, may I say just step out in faith and enjoy the affirmation and encouragement of the others here.

I have had the same type of thing happen to me many times. I cannot play the guitar yet, but God gives me the words and the melody and I write it down. I know it is not from my own mind because I cannot write so well when I try to think something up on my own.

Playing guitar is very easy if you do not want to get fancy.

I have written tons of songs from the Lord and 90% of them have only three cords.

I don't play the guitar, but have found with the skits I have written I can sit there for weeks not managing to write a thing and as soon as I give it over to the Lord, within hours they are written.

It's also an uprising when the prophecy is directed toward us..
it's always good to receive a word from God in JESUS name that helps us to keep going and pushing forward...

I am very impressed that all of you seem to be so sure about the direction you are being led by God's Holy Spirit. I so desire to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He wants to use me. I also freely admit that I am afraid to "step out" in faith in the gifts of teaching, word of knowledge, and prophesy.

How does one build up their faith to "act" according to the Holy will of God's Spirit?

Thank you so much for this! You have no idea how dead on this is and has everything to do with where I am at in my life...I am even reading a book right now that focuses on serving others. I am in awe of God and how He is using you to encourage others.

4Christ2 Come to the understanding that you have given your life completly to God to serve as God guides you with what ever tools He gives you become a true servent in your mind work for the Lord. With each and every prayer remember to use two words [ Use Me ] and use you He will. The first step is accepting your a servent to Him to be used by Him no matter what the calling with the tools given. Hope that helps.

Pam please always remember as we serve at some point as a servent God is going to guide you to doing something that is neither rewarding nor pleasent to do it will leave you wondering why on earth God would have you do this. in these cases we have to trust the Lord and just serve and do as guided and the cost to you may seem hard to bear but know God will not give more to His servent than his servent can handle. We dont always have understanding as servents but we must always have Faith that God controls all.

God's grace is sufficient for you. You do not have to do activities and procedures to make yourself more acceptable to God than what you have already done when you gave your life to Christ. The eyes of the Lord are on your heart. Does it not say that His Spirit searches the hearts of people and sees quite clearly the good and the evil in them. Has He not searched your heart and found it a heart that is seeking after Him. Does He not hear and take remembrance of your prayers? He takes your prayers and stores them up in the storehouse of His memory. He never forgets the prayers of those who pray to Him in truth and openness.

Thank you for that, Oscarr. It was exactly what I needed, and I have no doubt it was truly inspired by God, to whom I am deeply grateful. Again, thank you.
