Prayer requests

due to my new job schedule, location (moved out into the country), I havent been to church since the end of July. I need a church that has a midweek service due to I work Sundays. More and more churches around here dont have midweeks anymore.

request prayer that God will lead me/open a door to a church that I can call home.

Praying that God will lead you to the right place. All that a church home provides is very important, I think.

The Lord, knows His children, each, by name

We must, let Him Judge [others]

We must, allow 'choice'... to others
to 'walk' their own paths
and we must 'teach' His ways.... by example

I that you will, 'see your way'
in His TRUTH
and, keep to the path that He, has made for us, each
according to His will

we should, walk-on, with head high and with faith in our hearts

For, it is His will
that, will be done here and, not our's

I hear ya, Dave. And in most cases, I would be in total agreement with you here. I am a VERY strong believer in spiritual authority and obeying authority. In this case, however, this involves something that "should" be my choice and really is my choice. But it is something in which "my choice" will not be liked.

Without going into lot of details, just let me go ahead and say that it involves being STRONGLY encouraged (i.e. read~"pressured") by the company to donate money to a cause which funds many things (many good things)but also such things as abortion and/or abortion education which being pro-life, I do not wish to contribute to. The managers, however, are kinda "pressured" to get 100% participation from their employees of at least a nominal amount. Because, at the end of the day, it really is "voluntary" I don't feel I should contribute. But I know that decision won't be liked. In this case, I feel the ball is in my court and that I shouldn't contribute (since it is really "voluntary.")

I hope my cursory "explanation" here hasn't confused the issue too badly!! LOL! :o Just let me repeat, that I do think there are times when we just have to accept an authority's judgment/decisions, and God holds them reponsible for the outcome. In this case, though, I feel it is my decision to make. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I see it in this particular instance. This shouldn't even be a "big deal" but in many companies here in the US contributing to this particular "charity" has become one.

because, there is, 'in your view' a BAD one, amongst them [?]

In your 'position' I would stand my ground
with regard to a specific, single-donation, to a cause I couldn't support
and, make my 'stance' very clear....
REGARDLESS, of, HOW I would be 'called' for holding true to my beliefs

If, my opinion is of value to you Sis'
I would say, that I too, am against 'CONVENIENCE ABORTIONS'
BUT !!!
that I, would also need to add.... that one life, should not
cause the death of another, where, medical science, still has
an 'option' to preserve-it
ergo: a case by case 'approval' is not-possible, but, unfunded
this service, might not exist [?]

If, I have an argument with such 'giving' it would be,
that the 'patient' / or family, of the patient, HAS TO PAY at-all
for such 'service'

I am sure, that Jesus, did NOT charge for His healling

I really see this as the increase of moral darkness filling our land (America)...we do not think clearly...much freedom to "think"...is just being destroyed...to me these issues will get more pronounced for all of us believers...it may be how the Lord will seperate the wheat from the tares...

I am still fighting the battle with the mites...they are really intrenched in my system...I can see them in my mouth...under the tongue...I have ordered something people are using to treat Lyme disease and Morgellons disease...an antiparasitic drop of some kind...I am not depressed PTL...but this is quite a battle for me...

Just poppoing in quickly asking for prayer. I had a fall and hit my head while on holiday I still have some symptoms so saw doctor Friday. He thinks I have post concussive syndrome. Thankfully I have been able to get up and off to work the dizziness only is bad when I move my head too fast or roll over in bed. However, I am irritable and have trouble concentrating all not good things to have in my helping profession. I will check in when I can but finding computer time is till an issue till ours is fixed. Thanks sisters and brothers. Jan

I am coping but today I found the noise in the class quite bothersome. There is really nothing to be done but wait for things to get back to normal. The doctor has ordered a CT scan but by the time the hospital gets around to it I a believing I will be healed.

I also wanted to ask prayer for the actress/singer Jennifer Hudson and what is left of her family. Her 7 yr old nephew was finally found murdered today. He had been missing since Friday I think. Her mom and brother I think were killed last week when the child was discovered missing. I am not sure the full story but it is awful. She is a Christian sister (From AMerican Idol, Dream Girls and now Life of Bees.) Thanks

My husband was telling me about this tonight...I have not watched tv in quite a while...Lord give Jennifer extrodinary support at this time...and others who may be hurting deeply...shore up every one's faith and give Your attention and healing mercies to gratefulgrace...thank you Lord for always caring for us and faithfully keeping us from all evil.
