  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Asking for emergency prayers for one of my pupils, a 2nd grader named Leo. His family was knocked off the road by another car that has lost control on the ice, and he is on the operating table. All I know is “liquids in his abdominal cavity”.
My business is on the edge as it is, losing anyone is a crushing blow to that, but you come to care about the kids you work with, and his older brother did ten years with me. That family has enough problems now. So if anyone can, please pray!

I’m gathering that he has started walking again with assistance, which seems pretty darn good; continued prayers appreciated!

I have a big one for us: my daughter was innocently caught in the dragnet they arranged to arrest anyone and everyone they could hang a charge on in regards to the political figure “N” over here that the powers that be seem to be so afraid of. We are now being dragged over the coals over that. Please pray for us if you can!

My beloved broke up with me yesterday. He does not want to meet me anymore. I can not live without him. I am so afraid that God will not put my tears away. That God will not stop my pain. Plase pray that God 1. will put my pain away 2. that God will make him love me truly and that he comes back and God will allow our relationship. 3. Please pray that God will give me His love and guidance and will stop my pain.

I was in a long term relationship and one of the first things that happened after I was received into the Church and had a monastery pray for me was we broke up. Ouch. Of course there was tears and sadness and sleepness nights and all the rest. Now, a year later, I'm very grateful it ended. Ex-boyfriend was pulling me away from Christ instead of helping me struggle to be a better Christian. Praying for you but, just from someone who has been where you are now, have faith that God knows what He is doing.

I know what you are talking about but I am dying from pain every day and God does nearly not deliver me. That is why I am asking for prayers. I am really dying from pain! I just can not realize it I am still writing him emails. To think about it and come back.
