CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And if I could repeat the request for prayers for my girlfriend - she's had some training courses she's been going through this week (she's like an RA at college) and some of it has been really amplifying her depression and anxiety. It feels like I can't even do much since I live 2.5 hours away from the school, so not like I can just spontaneously go up and see her, it's gotta be more planned out
and not really in a place to be a primary caregiver or anything (if it gets to that point... which it very well could) since we're not married, she's still got a year of school, I'm employed part-time but not full-time, etc.

Please pray for me and my family. Pray for my two older sons, Aaron (wife Megan) and Noah, who are in college. Pray that they will be strong and remember God. Pray for Aaron as he is still seeking truth and is currently in the Anglican Church. Pray for my younger three children at home that my wife and I may be able to correct the errors that we have previously taught and lived. Thank you.

If you could spare a few prayers for me, though I am of a different/heretical tradition, I would very much appreciate it. I am currently at the doctor's (in the waiting room), trying to get treatment for some fairly serious and disruptive medical issues that have cropped up in my life over the last month that have really crippled me. I don't know exactly what is going on, and part of me is scared to know. Please pray that I be at peace with whatever I am told. Thank you.

Glory to God! I got a verbal job offer today that I'm pretty interested in. I'll be talking to my current employers on Monday and seeing what they can offer, so hopefully that goes well. Pray for God's guidance in this process for me
