Hi, Dave -
I'm afraid I'm inundating you with prayer requests lately,
but that might be the result of my and my friends' ages.
My brother-in-law Paul (in New Braunfels, TX)
has been diagnosed with throat cancer.
He will begin chemo next week
and will also undergo 7 weeks of radiation.
He - and I - would appreciate
the prayers of your group for successful treatment of his cancer.

I need to peek in here more often, we have such different needs and the support in prayer is so much appreciated....Lord, You hear and see it all...more than we can ask or think...yet You tell us to keep praying and not lose heart...Strengthen us all in our praer lives and answer us Lord...answer us and deliver us from much affliciton. Amen.

I add myself to the list...since my allergy flareup last week...the general pain from Fibro...is much worse....I keep thinking it is in my head....but it is probably not...this is reality for now.

Thank you Gail....you are faithful to always be praying....what a blessing...the pain in my legs has died down quite a bit....but it could come back....usually does. :o

I would also appreciate prayers for my husband, Paul. He has been battling a sinus infection for over six weeks now. Has had cortisone several rounds of antibiotics etc. still battling daily severe migraines, low grade fever and swollen jaw. We dont know what else to do at this point. Thanks.

I use a Vick's 'inhaler' before sleep, keeps sinuses OPEN
Six weeks is a LONG time... further clinical investigation may be necessary
~BECAUSE antibiotic treatment has failed [?]

I had some better days...since i last peeked in, but the leg pain returned after church yesterday...it hangs on for about 6 hours....has even come on during the night to wake me up...yet it seems to be slowly going away...I am pretty tired folks all the time now.

This, sounds very much, like the claudication that I would suffer
back before the last of my angioplasty procedures
Due to, narrowing of blood vessels and some very tight blockages

It was at one time, so-bad in my right leg
that no pulse could be detected in my right-ankle
and surgeons, forewarned me
that if circulation was not restored gangrene could occur,
and, I would need to have my leg amputated [below the knee]

Thankfully, my artery enlarged [with new growth] allowing blood
to bypass the blockage which could not be reached by angioplasty
It used to wake me [at night] as cramps would set in, very-painfully

In an unrelated incident, I once had my middle-finger bend backwards
onto the outside of my left hand
Once the spasm had ended, I forcibly replaced the finger
with my right-hand. It was an unimaginably painful experience

Poor circulation can leave you feeling very tired /lethargic


Perhaps, you might lead your doctor, to make ultrasound investigations
of your femoral arteries / or even, arteriograms via, use of an isotope
Early treatment, can provide for a brighter prognosis

Paul will be in my prayers. I have sinus infections fairly often during allergy seasons, and I know how painful they can be. My last one took two rounds of antibiotics.

Thanks for prayers for Paul. Today he was diagnosed with TMJ syndrome. So apparently, the swollen jaw was not from the sinuses as we thought. At least we know part of what we are dealing with. He was told the headaches could be coming from that as well.
